Hull is where the DGW gold was 🙁
No baps for me
Coutinho bonus annoying lol
Will lose it
Hope so
Why?
Becuase he was dispossessed more
More than what? Do you not think that they have counted the times dispossessed?
dispossession deductions are made after the game. He will lose the bap
^ He knows.
Sorry about the drop off in quality - normal service has resumed from now on.
I checked the rules on this (I normally just follow the baps-winning tendencies, never mind the detail of rules), and I can't even see there a category for 'dispossession'. So, what is this about, really?
Thank you Hull for saving myou DGW WC
3 Liverpool players for the DGW.
What a let down 🙁how did Harp[er have higher baps than Dawson
bap system rubbish non-shocker
Nicely done Mcshane. Time for my other bench fodder Albrighton to shine 🙂
Final day of the championship ending up a bit of damp squib.
Not in Scotland it's not 😉
All the questions and deliberation over hendo vs sterling vs coutinho and they all do sweet FA! 🙂
I'll take my 10 pts for two of them ta v much
really??? you can't be happy with that along with the prospects of now having that much pool in your team?
Agree. Awful returns
Coutinho got a bonus point 😉
0 goals vs West Brom and Hull is pretty pathetic.
Thanks Rodgers. Thanks Balotelli.
Feels like a bit of a wasted WC...esp when i could have done it in GW31 and got Austin, Benteke and Phillips!A bit? At least you're not exaggerating about it.
Keeping Siggy over Henderson worked out great.Lucky im a wimp and don't like hits
Hull defender off the bench for Schlupp.
Bruce.Ouch
Thanks Liverpool, you bench of idiots!
Now stuck with three of them too !+1
** Bunch
No I think bench was correct. That's where most of them belong.
My one reprieve this week is that I am only lumbered with two.. although one took a "knock" 😕
Incredible they didn't score once
Curious to see Liverpool QPR
why? it'll be home win. end of.
Basically need to downgrade either Coutinho or Clyne to afford Sanchez so which is better?
a) Young, Clyne, Dawson and Rose
b) Coutinho, Huth/Morgan, Dawson and RoseIs there any point keeping Liverpool players for QPR? Tempted to take hits just to dump them
Yes theyre due
Seen the way they play, no, they're not.
disclaimer: I do get that you're kidding.
I think there is. It's a home game against the weakest defence of the league which also happens to be the weakest away team. There should be goals in it.
Sterling as captain would be good diff
i was planning to hold Coutinho and Sterling...
might just sell Sterling after tonight!
Moral of this dgw: NEVER trust a scouser.
Spread the risk in my lesson learned
Suarez 2 goals 3 assists tonight ...
44(c) yess
Pool always deliver on DGWs 😎
messi got motm
The difference between 2nd and 5-7th
i have nugent in starting XI who didnt play first game, hope he doesnt play tomorrow as my first sub has 9 points.
is he still out?I need Costa to either play and have a massive game or Albrighton to get a haul to save my DGW
Nicely done Mcshane. Time for my other bench fodder Albrighton to shine
😯
What?
Those Liverpool were some : shock : !
Do tou guys think a decision can be better than it appears to be at te time?
Eg gettin a Hull defender for the dgw?Yup everyone on here talked them down.
How's it all going Pitch?Good thanks mate. Too many bitter ppl who need to vindicate their decisions, which resulted in failure.
You make decisions based on information you have before the GW starts. The general consensus on here was that Hull were poor investments based on their past fixtures and past form. Just because they did well doesn't change the fact you made a good decision in not buying one of them.
I don't know why people don't understand this.
The game decides who made a good decision by awarding them points. Ur reasoning before a match does not recieve a score, altho it maybe sound it is extremely limited.
You're mistaking the right, or paying decision, for the good one. Suppose you had a situation where you had 100 boxes, one of which has million dollars in it. You can only pick one to open. After you have picked one, but before you opened it, the guy who set this game up opens 98 empty boxes, and then ask you if you want to still open the box you're holding, or whether you would like to change to the other still unopened box. The other box has 99% chance to have million dollars in it. Your box has 1% chance. The good decision is to swap and get the 99% chances, but it still has that 1% chance of being the wrong decision - which is the case that you had initially picked the right box. Your decision doesn't come any worse because of that, however. It was well founded, but ended up going wrong against all the odds.
Preach brother, preach. It's simple logic/common sense.
I think with regards to hull ppl did not weight up the probabilities very well....eg weight given to potential of relegation strugglers to secure points against tears who don't have much left to play for. I get that on the face of it, at the time hull played seemed undesirable.
Now this makes more sense than what you were saying before. Although Pool had everything to play for. It was do or die just like it was for Hull. Palace have been scoring for fun recently.
I get this point and it has truth in it. We may have underrated that relegation battle factor. It always creates some surprises and you just have to find the right ones. But that's a lot of guessing game unless you get some inside knowledge.
My only point here is that the decision doesn't become good just because it turned out to be the winning one. Ill-found decisions can occasionally be very successful, but in the long run, consistently picking against the odds will lose.Ok guys I think we've all come to some sort of concensus!. Tbf u are all really bright ppl.
You are basically right in that a good decision can end up being the wrong one, and a bad decision the rights one, anybody who understands statistics at all gets this. Only thing I would contest is that the 'general consensus' here is not quite the right measure of how good the decision is. You know, people here may make bad decisions, and often do.
Exactly. For example ppl knew that hull were relegation strugglers, if they had given more weight to this then they may have picked players from Hull. Their reasoning was probably flawed to begin with, and stil they tell themselves that it was correct.
I see where you're coming from now. What I'm saying is that everyone has to make the best decisions they can taking into account all of their predictions about what will happen. Hull were much better than we expected but some might have thought they'd do this well.
Sure, but still, statistically looking, Hull had very little appeal. That said, the little appeal that they may have had is exactly where their points materialised: 1) defence (since they are not so proud owners of the leagues worst attack for almost all season now), and 2) N'Doye, who actually has been a threat.
So, these points were not completely out of the blue, and fair play with that. But were they really in any sense as likely as, let alone more than, Liverpool scoring against WBA and Hull? No they weren't. WBA has been quite crap to all directions and Liverpool has shown pretty excellent signs recently and we were right to expect better until Rodgers took us by surprise and planted that useless human totem Balotelli to the point of his attack. We all expected either Coutinho or Sterling to play upfront, and there were good reasons for that, too.
It felt weird putting that exact term in but what I meant as a collective we try to make the best transfers based off all the info we have available to us.
People on here are extremely results oriented which is a terrible thing to be in a game of imperfect information. Captaining Kun at home to QPR is always going to be good call no matter the outcome.
Indeed. Sadly that home fixture to QPR was very disappointing this season. I, along with many others, had blanks from Costa Bony Defoe Moses all at home to QPR when the respectives players were in good form. After being burned all those times when it came to Benteke I refrained from bringing him in ... that didn't go so well ...
Must have been manic on here when Liverpool scored.
Ha
Ha ha
HaaaaaaaaaaaNot that old & memory a bit sketchy but I guess so.
When?
If there is a moral to this GW it's that you shouldn't be afraid to back teams who have something to play for over those who are treading water. These were massive games for Chelsea, Hull and Leicester whereas the likes of Liverpool and Palace are essentially done for the season.
Even someone like Kane will likely cool off with little left to play for. These games were more important for Pool then they were for Chelsea, if Pool had won these they'd be 1 point off united whereas Chelsea were 10 points clear.
But I agree with regards to Hull I guess, already you could say Burnley had a lot to play for too.
although you could say*
Their's certainly a lesson to be learned their i think.
hull were basically halving wages if they went down that trains the mind and body a bit
Liverpool were ostensibly still in the running for Champion's League 2 games ago. This makes no sense.
this 100%
Must watch video for Chelsea fans

I suppose you'd a team full of Hull players as well knight?
Nah, just N'Doye.
Playing 5 at the back meant I'd need a hit to shift a Hull defender to a Gooner for next week.
Pool losing makes FPL recede into insignificance though 😀🙂
McShane here hopefully 😉
Hull are poor they said.
Don't get their defender they said.
Chester brought me 13 points they never said. 😉Probably becuase he didnt have 13 points back then
+ 15 points from N'Doye. I love Hull. 😀
28 points from Hull now that's what I call a result!
What a differential 😀
Well played sir
Thanks 🙂
i had a feeling he would work out for you, although i mostly thought he would get a goal or something .. not two clean sheets!
I was hoping for the goal, but this is perfect. 🙂
If I could go back to Friday night I still wouldn't buy one of them.
Lol? Makes no sense. U have no desire to win?
I mean if the games were replayed again I still wouldn't buy one of them because I wouldn't expect them to do that well.
Probably a bad way to phrase it in the above post.I get what ur saying but its still silly to think we know all the facts. we need to take blame for failing to pick these kind of players otherwise we will never improve, and no wish to improve implies we think we'r perfect.
I'd love to have owned McShane or Dawson but unfortunately I didn't. Well done to anyone who saw the potential in Hull players that I didn't.
My sentiments exactly.
I sold Chester 🙁
Why?
Bayern v Dortmund penalty shoot out incoming
german cup?
Semis?Yup
Is todays avg already known?
39
Top 10k 49-50
Those were 2 unexpected results for Hull-Well done!
Bye Bye Coutinho bonus point
