Congrats man! You have really done well this second half of the year. I've been around the 15K mark for ages now so I may start to take more risks if I get a good lead in my ML.

It's clear to see Rodgers SHOULD lose his job after tonight. Suarez made him look good during his brief reign at Liverpool. I have a feeling FSG like him though because he's a manager that doesn't complain about their "moneyball" approach which leads to no marquee signings and a lower wage bill. Hopefully they do the right thing and replace him with someone worldclass...and give the new manager at least 100M to spend.

Reus is injury prone but showing that "intent" would be great. I'd love if we got another hardworking forward...perhaps Cavani?

I would say 50 points is a pretty solid lead now. Only Arsenal DGW to go and you'll have most of the big boys there. But you never know. Closing out the options and going safe seems the best way. Let them make risks.

This DGW was my main concern. I feel Im better set up for the run in though

yea this DGW was my main concern hence I played my WC. Bit of a letdown so far unless Schmeichel and Terry (who i brought in on WC) have a good haul. Still better points than my pre-WC team but expected much more from the Liverpool folks.

Mmm, tough one. I'd say A, b/c I think Monreal is more likely to get rotated (Gibbs) than Koscielny, with Ramsey and Giroud equally likely to be rotated. Then again, many will have Gru so if you're leading, perhaps try to protect that lead?

So ummm Kane & Cazorla ---> Vardy, Sanchez for -4? Opinions? I am trying to win my ML so bad, I'm 30 points behind, cheers boys

Keep an eye on Vardy's injury. If your trying to make up 34 pts you may need to go for Benteke and hope he remembers what the offsides rule is and goes back to banging in goals

Closed the gap in ML from 28 points to 5 however my Captain Sterling has played

Hazard C + 5 V Ivan really need a Chelsea CS and and Hazard no show so close yet so far!

    Start two:

    A) Clyne
    B) Bertrand
    C) Bellerin

It's tough, Bellerin could be a good shout but at risk of a cameo plus Hull have been in form.

I don't know which of Clyne and Bertie to pick, but one of them and Bellerin. Spread the risk.

Cheers mate. Thinking Bertrand, he was a lot better attacking wise vs. Spurs. Although Clyne is up against PvA who could be caught too far forward.

B & C imo, I guess Bellerin is nailed on at the moment.

Who would you start between Bellerin & Fonte and Davis & Schmeichel?

Getting defensive points just feels so good. Dunno what it is, maybe its cos I play defense myself or that its more relief not losing points as opposed to strikers gaining points.

I cannot say I have any preference as to where the points come from positionally. I have to say the low ownership players and the punts are so much more satisfying though.

Punts for sure. But theres also that element of putting your faith in someone. Trusting a solid defence I guess. Whereas attacking points are more hopeful.

But yeah I'll take them anyway I can get. I had a full house of cleansheets about 2 weeks ago but all my attackers blanked, it was a bit of a let down 😆

I've had more faith in the mid range I feel. Southampton were a Godsend. 😆 Big boys always come to the fore though. Chelsea defender a must again next year. What price will they be though?

can't see them priced above what they were priced this season. They had a lot of cleansheets last season too.

True but the price will still rise for consistency. Ivan surely to go up. Others may get off due to uncertainty surrounding them.

Ivan was 7m this year, most expensive chelsea defender. He will stay the same I would think.

Oh thats right. Forgot he was 7 to begin with. Could well be 7.5 though you never know. Seems pretty steep alright though I guess they need t have those prices where its tempting to go either way. Cant have them all bargains 😀

7.5 would be a price too steep for a Chelsea defender though. Even Coleman was 7.0 with his open play goals and consistent cleanies the season before.

Will be looking eagerly at how they price United defence.

Coleman wasnt in a Championship winning side though consistently getting cleanies year in year out. Its the whole safety net thing I suppose. You just know Ivan will be there or there abouts again. The same couldnt be said for Coleman.

United will be interesting. Still a bit of a minefield until they buy someone. But then again, LVG has proven hes not afraid to bench his signings either.

I've never been a big fan. Or a fan, period. Flighty player. Not a lot upstairs, it seems. At least in terms of footballer knowledge. Can't be relied on when you need some deep down grit. I could go on. If I were a Liverpool fan, I'd be just fine with them selling him on.

Maybe I'm being a little harsh here. Maybe I'm not. I don't know. Just think he hasn't done himself well at all in recent months, and he deserves a lot of the criticism he's getting.

Could you imagine 100k per week? I mean, maybe some of you around here roll in that kind of money. Not me, and I can't even imagine how I would spend it all. Kind of disgusting really what pro athletes in general are making these days. But, I guess as the saying goes, don't hate the player, hate the game.

Don't forget the other 6 or 7 hopeless players.

Why Rodgers started Balotelli is baffling to me. Nearly every decent performance we've had this season has come with Sterling, Coutinho and another up front.

Yeah. You have a point. I'm an even lesser fan of Balotelli. Why any team would want to sign him is beyond me, although I actually commend Liverpool in a way for trying to give him a chance. My last straw with Balo was the World Cup. I think he one game...was it against England. The rest, as I recall, was a bunch of his typical bullshart. Just a despicable footballer.
