After a considerable amount of time, and having been down by at least 70 points just 4 or so gameweeks back, I am top of my main ML! I hadn't checked until now. I'm over the moon!

I think I have decided not to bother with the Sunderland DGW and just hope for the best in GW37. I probably will only have PVA. Right now I think I should focus on moving on dead template players such as Silva and Kane rather than spend transfers on risky Sunderland players for the sake of 1GW.

Yeah, might be the best plan. I have had O'Shea for a while and will be keeping. Not sure if I really want to get any other Sunderland lads, but maybe a punt on Wickham will sneak into my plans. I also have Silva and Kane, and what bothers me most with them is that fear that if I get rid, they will go off. But, that often leads to holding onto dead wood for too long.

Both are worth keeping IMHO opinion. Kane keeps scoring, and Silva has had two quiet weeks in front of an incredible scoring run. The real question is who would you replace them with ... there are very few "under the radar" players worth taking a punt on right now.

That's a big part of the thought process that makes me think I'll hold for at least one more week, anyways. Guess my plans will be more clear as I really start to weight it all out.

I don't want to be dictated by fear, quite keen to bring in a few differentials as others concentrate on DGWers. I could make up some ground in the 3 remaining SGW's if I act now.

I'm usually not controlled too much by the fearful approach to FPL managing, but after climbing my way up so much lately, I'm hesitant to go to radical.

If you can do both at the same time though ...

Actually, if you're selling Kane and Silva you should be able to replace them with premium players who will reap points greater than any DGW player in 37.

      Who you thinking Ryan?

Siggy is one now that he's back playing as a #10, he seems quite motivated. Mirrallas is a gamble but might pay off, Tekkers is another one I'm looking at.

I'd look to spend 4pts and bring in one of those plus Sanchez, may yet bring in PVA if I'm conservative.

Haha ... Mirallas could be the silver bullet, i agree!

Siggy does look better, it just bothers me that htere is no-one in front of him finishing off. Unless Oliviera starts kicking off.

They changed there formation in the last game to include wingers. If you think back to when they first came to the premier league they had that formation with Danny Graham up front. Siggy was awesome then.

Yeah... relegation battle teams are cooking up the points this week. Curious if that will continue with consistency. Can't remember a season when so many teams in the relegation battle turned up their performance level a notch to rise to the fight for survival. It is quite fun but not sure it is sustainable for all.

Should I take a hit (or hits) to unload any of these for next week?

    Ospina (Harper)

    Ivanovic Skrtel Huth (PVA, Vlaar)

    Hazard Sanchez Sterling Henderson (Cambiasso)

    Costa Giroud N'Doye

Thinking... maybe bring in Tekkers for Costa... wondering what to do with midfield... tempted to start Cambiasso over Sterling or Hendo.

    Your thoughts?

Keep the Pool lads for their home tie with QPR this week, but I'd be shifting Costa for Tekkers for sure.

Next week Hendo > Ozil / Ramsey

Cheers. Thinking similar. If there's not a bounce back pride performance against QPR, Liverpool need to sell the whole team and start over.

Already have 3 Arsenal players. No one seems a clear choice in midfield. Hoping De Jong emerges seems like grasping at straws.

Will ship N'Doye for Wickham after Burnely match in week 36 (when I expect everyone to load up on Hull players based on recent performances, then watch Burnley thrash them... maybe I should save myself some hassle and get Ings - LOL).

Oh you already have triple arsenal. Definitely no need for a hit.

The way Liverpool and Leicester are playing respectively, I agree cambiasso over Henderson is tempting, but probably keep it as it is

A 0-0 would be a disaster for anyone that didn't double up on Leicester at the back as most have a Chelsea defender.

We need a 3 or 4 nil to Chelsea but they will probably go there, park the bus and grind out a boring 1 nil.

No way. the players below may take some big captaincy punts. Only takes one getting lucky.

I caught up 50+ points in one week with benteke captain last dgw. Took me from 70 points behind to 12 points, and now I'm ahead

Yeah, but number of chasers is also a factor. Only takes one out of 10 or so to get lucky.

I remember getting Berbatov in GW38 one season as I knew my chasers would get him & captain. Leader has enough space to cover the main differential danger.

You can lose a big lead easily, after City ran riot against Newcastle I went 70 ahead, the guy chasing me took a risk when Kane scored a hatrick and captained him and now the lead is only 14.

Saying that, this week he had a double Leicester defence and I had Austin so those two missed pens could have swung it back my way but it just shows how you can never count your chickens when they can take risks on the captaincy.

Cambiasso was the main issue there. Giroud over N'Doye was preparing in advance.

Yup. Thanks to his late post of Bruce's Tweet, I joined him as one of the 187 that brought in Harper this week.

So sad for the 1571that brought in McGregor.

Also McGregor has 2.4% ownership to Harpers 0.2%

Still remains to be seen if Schmeichel or Harper will be the high scorer between the sticks this week but fantastic call by Granville, happy to ride his coattails.

What to do with our Liverpool players? I'm keeping for the QPR game for sure but after that, who is worth keeping? Sterling is definitely going for me.Skrtel's fixtures aren't great but he could stay for me. What to do with Henderson though? Is he worth keeping? I don't see any midfield options outside Arsenal that are appealing at all. A punt on Mata who has good fixtures?

          Meh.

4 games to go. 7 point lead. They can just play for 0-0 draws and they're probably in barring Liverpool, Spurs or Southampton winning out.

That said, will make it hard on Arsenal to retain the Wenger Cup for finishing 4th.

(Kudos to Liverpool on this... they'd be 1 point out if they had won the last two and well placed to get back into Champion's League.)

With current top 4 plus Liverpool, Tottenham & Southampton in the mix, top 4 in Prem is incredibly tough - would take a miracle - on Everton's budget. With the money at stake that could help grow the team, I totally get the effort and salute it.

I really can't figure out why Europa on Thursday seems so much tougher on clubs than Champions League on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Is there really any reason for Chelsea to bring Costa back this season at all? I don't really see one, unless they start to collapse on a huge level. I mean, he can rest in the offseason and all that, but with the hammy injuries so "fresh" right now, maybe it's just best to keep him on the sideline.

Lol. Costa might have a say. "Coach, I am fit and want to win the golden boot"

            Mou might then play him.

Yep. This Golden Boot thing has made me reassess the whole scenario. Think you're onto something there.

    Tie game after 3.

Should be a good 4th quarter until Spurs start the 'Hack a Jordan' plan...

What is your plan, I am thinking of Cout to Sanchez? Are you gona wait one more week to offload Liverpool players/Fabs ?

It's either Sterling or Fab out for an Arsenal player or save.

Amazing. Liverpool could have really been in good shape to qualify for Champion's League if they had won the last two with Rooney possibly out the rest of the way. Would have been, what, 2 points out of 4th?

If this wee run of games doesn't get Brendan fired, I'm not sure what will. Bring on Pardew 😉

Now maybe Paul won't feel so bad for what Curry did to him.
