Balotelli could be out so may just save. Pool don't have much confidence though.

Imagine if the lose to QPR at home... isn't out of the question either.

Austin will be looking for redemption after that PK miss and usually does well vs 'big' clubs.

After last night's train wreck, it seems more likely.

Last 30 minutes, Liverpool players looked both frustrated and like they didn't believe they would score. Captain Henderson lost his cool a few times, and not in a way that rallied the team.

Rodgers should have been fired in December; and I'm generally against teams quickness to fire.

Pool was on a run from mid Nov to March...they were winning games with clean sheets

BR just didnt know what to do when Lucas is out, Gerrard / Balo back from suspension / injury

They should and i hope they could revert back to 3-4-3 with Courtinho or Sterling up front!

In many ways I'm not that surprised that Hull players did as well as they did, the fact that so many people talked them down made it inevitable that they would score well.

I didn't see the game. Was Hull really that strong? I was all set to start bringing in Arsenal players; they're coming in over the next 3 weeks, so why wait? Surely Arsenal will do the business, no?

i also didnt see the game but someone was mentioning Hull put a new meaning to parking bus...they had 7 at the back

I watched the game, it was solid defending by Hull, well structured and planned... but also a great deal of Pool being quite toothless. We lacked punch.

Also, almost every shot we had was straight at Harper, Henderson had the best chance which was well saved.

Thanks. So, I'm thinking to keep Coutinho for the balance, and ship Sterling for Ozil or Ramsey. Do I keep Sterling for QPR and make the move at GW36 or does that need to be done asap? Are you expecting a rebound?

I was very apprehensive to get Pool attacking players for the DGW and only got Sterling.

It is a tough call, but my move is to get rid of him asap. Without goals, which is a huge concern - there wont be many points.

I believe Arsenal are going to really try their best to end as high as possible and they also have a double in 37, so I want to invest there.

it definitely gets done by gw36. i'm just stuck on whether to move forward for gw35.

hmm. definitely plenty to think about in the next few days. plenty of advantages to deferring making a move as i've got more transfers than my closest competitor and think he's going to use his transfers up this week or next, so a big plus to see what he does first. and, then, i'm still torn as to which 2 of the Arsenal mids to grab, so that's another reason to postpone a decision. but, i also like the idea of a bold move and going for it!

I'm worried about all my captain picks at the moment, 4 weeks left and under pressure to get it right every time as I only have a tiny lead.

Palace seem to have dipped and if Chelsea win tonight they can win the title at the Bridge, don't think him being tired will be a factor but once the title is won he will be a risk.

Hull will be up for the Arsenal game, good point.

Palace have never really been firing at home. Away from home they are a different team from what I have seen. Aguero has to be the best (C) option this week imo.

Whatever Hazard and Ivanovic etc do won't really affect the rankings. A two or three nil win for Leicester though, and anyone holding their players will be motoring up the leagues.

Only about 80% of the top 10k captained Hazard. 20% of the top 10k could plummet down the rankings if he goes crazy, and Ivanovic'a ownership wasn't extremely high in the top 10k from what I remember.

I wonder how it goes tonight

    a) Leicester try to do something special and go big for a win

    or

    b) Leicester resting some key players, just accepting a small defeat and trying to be focused on weekend game

I think going for a) would benefit more for weekend game too (apart from possible injuries tough).
Might be a little biased tough, 'cos I desperately need Leicester to score and no attacking point either for Terry 😕

Such an unpredictable game, Leicester could want to continue the momentum infront of their home fans, let's not forget they took it to United and Arsenal, Chelsea could want to hammer them to show the world that they are not boring.

It has 0-0 written all over it 🙂

A 1-1 with goals from Ivanovic and Cambiasso would be nice.

Question about the Europa league teams: Liverpool, Spurs, Southampton

Which team do you think is the best??
I think saints have had the best season, but Spurs have the brightest future. What about you?

I think their current positions rank them fairly.

With only goal difference between Spurs and Liverpool?

I like Southampton, well organised team. Just need some spark in attack.

A lot depends on their summer spending. I still feel Liverpud are the better team when Studge plays. STH have definetly over-excelled though.

Liverpool need a striker then will be good. Saints are very solid but will no doubt sell and rebuild again this summer. Spurs are a funny team. A couple of world class players away from being a top team.

Liverpool bought 2 strikers in the Summer so it's not like they haven't prepared for the season.

Bad management is why they failed as he played neither when he needed them and killed both their confidence.

Is it sane to go rest of the season without Giroud? I will have Sanchez, Ozil/Ramsey and Ospina. Finding it difficult to bring in Giroud into my current team.

I think you might regret it given his form and need to ahve him for 37. Don't think you need ARS coverage if they are in the goals.

Could be magical. People are piling into him for DGW... with Champion's League secured thanks to Liverpool, Wenger could give more time to others... even let Walcott have a go as lone striker.

I think it's ok. Rambo/Ozil will do the trick I reckon.

fwiw, i'm currently leaning in that direction too. same midfielder thoughts (and still undecided between Ramsey and Ozil) and then going for one in the defense, although may opt for a defender over Ospina. between Aguero, Kane, Benteke, and Vardy given his fixtures, a more than reasonable argument can be made for grabbing the Arsenal cover elsewhere.

      but it is scary....

Hands up if you have 2 Liverpool midfielders, really want to get rid of one but simply can't do it before QPR at home?
It's about as plumb a fixture as possible.

I was thinking that about WBA and Hull too, though...

QPR will fancy having a real go 🙁

Don't want to get rid yet, but getting tempted to bench one for Cambi/Vardy.
      Propably benching Cambi anyway.

    Dear Mr Schlupp,

I sincerely hope you are fit today. I hope you start and play the first half. If you are not fit, i ll cry for the 12 and 6 points my 2 main rivals will get respectively. I wish you all the best.

Why are people going for Ramsey over Ozil?
    Isn't ozil on set pieces?

Think it might be statistically based. I think Ozil is more nailed on anyway.
