We’ve tasked the Sky Blues’ marquee forward, the Red Devils’ reborn midfielder and Liverpool’s fleet-footed playmaker with overhauling Paddy in this week’s iteration of Fantasy Flutter.

Our first wager this week has us eyeing up Sergio Aguero as he pays visit to one of his favourite hunting grounds: White Hart Lane. The Argentinian striker netted seven goals in his previous three starts against Tottenham Hotspur – including a four-goal haul in the reverse fixture – and boasts great form in the league (four goals in three). As such, Paddy’s 12/1 offer on Aguero to score two or more goals and City to keep a clean sheet has tempted us to part with our first £3.

Marouane Fellaini’s resurgence under Louis van Gaal renders the Belgian an enticing target for our second punt. The former Everton stalwart – who’s notched two goals in six starts – has evolved into the focal point of the Red Devils’ attack, chalking up more shots inside the box (six) than any other United midfielder. Considering the Baggies have recorded the fewest away goals (11) in the league this term, Paddy’s 11/2 offer on Fellaini to score and United to keep a clean sheet has us handing over a further £3.

Philippe Coutinho is the subject of our final, and favourite, bet in this round of fixtures. Despite drawing a blank in the last six Gameweeks, no midfielder has fashioned more attempts on target (nine) than the Brazilian starlet over that stretch. Allied with the fact that the Reds recorded shut-outs in nine of their previous 14 outings, Paddy’s 4/1 odds on Coutinho to score and Liverpool to keep a clean sheet  have encouraged us to invest our final £4.

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

      Tough call, If i was in your position I would be looking for a captain coup either this week or next. I'd probably make the move next week though given Chelsea are most likely about to win the title, the platform is set for Hazard!

    Guess Sanchez won't be the number one arsenal to have for everyone for the DGW if he blanks again this week. Will make it 4 blanks in the last 5 and we know how fast a player turns from hero to zero at this forum.

    Who do you think will be the one everybody is getting next week if Sanchez blanks?

    Özil?
    Ramsey?
    Giroud?

      Sanchez's ownership is still hard to ignore though, plus he still has that explosiveness.

          Agree. People seem to forget that before that FAC workhorse display, he didn't contribute much that it was easy to say he's not worth 11.2m. I'm still sceptical about bringing him back, however I'm sure he'll be such an exciting prospect in a DGW.

    Do you guys think that this one is legitimate ?

    That is, if the City vs Spurs game indeed turns out to be a high scoring one (2-2 or 3-2), then the BPs will be very much distributed and it might so happen that Aguero, in spite of scoring a brace might end up with 1 BPs and a total of 11 Points.

    However, assuming the Chelsea vs Palace game will be a low scoring one (1-0), Haz will probably only be needing 1 goal to accrue the same tally of 11.

    So in that sense, Haz is a safer bet for captaincy this week ?

    Davis/Jakupovic
    Terry/Bertrand/Skrtel/Bellerin/Bruce
    Henderson/Fabregas/Hazard/Sterling/Albrighton
    Kane/Aguero/Berahino

    Thinking of bringing in Kasper for jakupovic this week to play as my closest chaser has him and taking a hit to bring in vardy for berahino....

    I ruined my season early on by ignoring Kuns stats v Spurs and high defences, thought they'd learnt their lesson. He proceeded to bang in 4. Has Spurs defence learnt anything or got worse?

    Thoughts on my team. Currently sitting at 238th (been dropping steadily for a few weeks now, was at 107th at one point)

    -----------------Terry - Ivan - Clyne--------------

    (c) Hazard - Sterling - Coutinho - Cazorla

    -------------Aguero - Giroud - Kane-----------

    Bench - Panti - Boyd - Dawson - Rose

      Have I got my starting XI right? Or would you play Panti/Hendo over Krul/Sterling? Also, who to captain out of Hazard, Giroud, and Agüero? Thanks in advance.

      Krul;
      Ivanovic, PvA, Skrtel;
      Hazard, Fàbregas, Silva, Sterling;
      Agüero, Vardy, Giroud.

      Subs: Pantilimon; Henderson, Dawson, Naughton.
