In our quest to outsmart Paddy this Gameweek, we’ve looked to Aston Villa’s red-hot frontman, Manchester City’s twinkle-toed playmaker and the Potters’ long-range specialist.

Our first bet of the weekend has us backing Christian Benteke to perpetuate his astonishing scoring streak. The Belgian hitman recorded ten goals in his last eight starts, bagging a brace last time out against Everton. Ally this with the fact that Villa’s opponents this week, West Ham United, have netted just four goals in the last eight Gameweeks, and Paddy’s 11/1 offer on Benteke to score two or more goals and Villa to keep a clean sheet looks worthy of a £3 investment.

Having drawn blanks in his previous five outings, David Silva is in the midst of a quiet patch on the goal front, yet a home tie against strugglers Queens Park Rangers serves as the perfect catalyst. The R’s have tallied one shut out in their last 10 and failed to score in two of their last three, encouraging us to take up Paddy’s 13/5 odds on Silva to score and City to keep a clean sheet. Indeed, we make this our bet of the week and part with a further £4.

Our final wager in this round of fixtures centres around Stoke City’s Charlie Adam as he gears up for Tottenham Hotspur’s visit on Saturday. The Scottish midfielder has been in prolific form of late, notching three goals in five starts. Meanwhile, the Lilyhwhites have not troubled the scoresheet in four of the past seven Gameweeks, giving us ample reason to capitalise on Paddy’s 12/1 offer for Adam to score and Stoke to keep a clean sheet, handing over our final £3.

Is there a reason people are getting Ozil over Cazorla, the stats appear to favour Cazorla?

Sanchez or a fit Ramsey is better than either of those two, from an FPL perspective.

I've already got Sanchez so might keep an eye on Ramsey

No obvious reason, they're both pretty close. I'd go Ozil out of the two, but I'm waiting until next week for Rambo (if fit)

It's weird right, that shows in all home matches Ozil is more creative than Cazorla however in all home matches the shots on goal is 40 v 15 in Cazorla's favour.

I'm tempted to play McCarthy as a differential over sterling. Thoughts?

I still have the dilemma of what to do with my team?
Is Mane likely to play this week? Can see him flagged?

      Thinking Sterling + Fab > Mane + Sanchez -4

Saying that Liverpool have palace next week. But it would be a brave (potentially fruitful) man who gets rid of Hazard

Yeah would be tough to get rid of Haz, but I think Sanchez will outscore him. I want Sanchez this week thought as I think my rival will get him in! Probably getting rid of Haz next week anyway.

    Ospina
    Skrtel - Schlupp - Ivanovic
    Albrighton - Ramsey - Hazard - Mata
    Kane - Benteke(c) - Aguero

Subs: Gilks, Henderson, Alderweireld, van Aanholt

Gents, have I got the subs right on this one? Can't see Liverpool getting anything at Stamford Bridge, think Jose will rest players after this one. Doing Kane to Giroud next week.

        Krul / K Davis
        Ivan / Bellerin / Clyne / Bruce / Cameron
        Silva / Haz / Coutinho / Mane / Grealish

46 points behind rival so need differentials. We both have Aguero but only I so far has Sanchez.

    A) Captain Aguero and hope my Sanchez stays a differential
    B) Captain Sanchez and hope Aguero stays quiet

I captained Sanchez last week so if he has any sense he will bring him in this week but QPR at home could be a slaughter.
