Danny Welbeck is ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to United. Winston Reid returns for West Ham, John O’Shea could be back for Sunderland’s double Gameweek, whilst David Nugent remains sidelined for Leicester.

Arsene Wenger has conceded that Danny Welbeck remains unavailable for Arsenal’s trip to United on Sunday. Earlier this morning, the Gunners boss went on to say “I think Aaron Ramsey will be alright”, after a knock prevented the Welshman from training over the last few days. Mikel Arteta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remain sidelined, whilst Mathieu Debuchy returned to training yesterday after being sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Danny Rose is fully fit for Tottenham after being named amongst the subs with a groin problem last week. Emmanuel Adebayor is a doubt due to illness, whilst Kyle Walker and Ben Davies remain sidelined through injury.

Nathan Baker is back in training for Villa, though this weekend’s trip to Southampton comes too soon for the defender. Libor Kozak has been ruled out with a back problem, whilst Tim Sherwood has revealed that Gary Gardner and Callum Robertson have been training with the first-team this week.

Leicester’s Matty James is sidelined with a knee injury and is set for surgery which could keep him sidelined for months. David Nugent misses out again due to a calf complaint, though Andy King has recovered from injury and is available for the trip to Sunderland.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez miss out again for Southampton, though Ronald Koeman has revealed the pair could feature in next weekend’s trip to City. James Ward-Prowse returns from a one-match suspension, whilst Dusan Tadic remains sidelined through injury.

QPR midfielder Sandro is still unavailable for selection due to work permit issues. Bobby Zamora is a doubt, though Nedum Onouha returns from a one-match suspension for the visit of Newcastle. Steven Caulker will require pain-killing injection on a broken hand in order to retain his start in central defence.

Leighton Baines is sidelined for the final two Gameweeks after undergoing minor ankle surgery. Roberto Martinez has confirmed that, aside from the left-back, Everton’s squad will be unchanged from the one that faced Sunderland last weekend.

Winston Reid is set to return to the West Ham squad for the visit of Everton. Fellow defender James Tomkins remains hopeful of returning in time for the Gameweek 38 trip to Newcastle.

Siem de Jong and Adam Armstrong are still unavailable for Newcastle’s trip to QPR. Gabriel Obertan is back in the squad, whilst Papiss Cisse is “in a good place” after a full week’s training, according to John Carver.

John O’Shea hopes to recover from a rib injury in time for Sunderland’s home encounter with Leicester.

Around 11 million. Can already see that midfield of

Bale-depay-sanchez-hazard taking up most of my budget 🙂

I'm regretting Ozil over Caz...It might go ok but the balance is definitely in favour of Caz.

          • 12 Years
          10 years, 9 months ago

I used to be all about Caz, but now I doubt him so much for his shooting. He has 92 non-penalty shots this season, 37 of them inside the box, and only 1 goal. Does it really matter how many shots he gets inside the box, if his scoring relies completely on penalties? He hasn't even scored free kicks, which used to be his speciality before he joined Arsenal.

At least he is actually prepared to shoot. Ozil seems to be going backwards for those stats.

I've gone for all 3 of those as a likely differential, no Dman and no striker - United are likley to score imo and Sunderland may have to - now, just picking the right captain . . . . . .

    4-3-3 formation

    Pantillmon
    Ivanovic / pva / schlupp / Bertrand
    Sanchez / ozil (c) / Cazorla
    Benteke / Aguero / vardy

Took out mignolet and hazard to bring in Pantillmon and captain ozil...not a very safe choice but I got to do something different to catch up.

  6. Dr Dream

I'm chasing and stuck between 3 transfer options:

    Schmeichel - Panti
    Ivan - Moreno - PVA - Duff - Schlupp
    Sanchez - Hazard - Coutinho - Ozil - Albrighton
    Aguero - Benteke - N'Doye

    A) N'Doye -> Giroud (-4)
    B) Moreno -> Kosc (-4)
    C) Alrighton -> Cazorla & Moreno -> Vlaar (-8)

C sets me up nicely for the final week as well, but is it worth it? All involve a first transfer of Hazard -> Silva first which I'm pretty set on

Surely he'd like to smack a few in for the last home game of a great season, plus Hull HAVE to win so will leave holes - i'm keeping him in

Morning guys. I'm just ranked outside the top 100 and want to get back in the exclusive club. Do I play it safe or go for the riskier big kahuna option?

    A) Myhill > Panti. Play Bellerin.

    B) Hazard + Bellerin > Ramsey + PVA (-4)

    Cheers!

No idea why anyone would waste a transfer on a goalie, even in a DGW

    Panti
    Terry Alder Skrtel
    Albrighton Hendo Silva Sanchez
    Giroud Vardy Aguero

    Heaton Hazard Hutton McAuley

    A) Silva > Ramsey/Cazorla for a FT.
    B) Hazard > Ramsey/Cazorla for a FT
    C) Save FT

I only have Myhill in goal at the moment. Is Pantilimon for a hit (in for Foster) worth it? I have 3 Arsenal already.

I wouldn't back Panti to outscore Myhill by 4. If he does it'll be by a couple of points top, don't bother.

Please RMT - cost me 8 points but I need to make up 36 points in 2 weeks.

    Pants
    Terry Kolarov PVA
    Caz Rambo Sanchez Gerrard
    Aguero Kane Vardy

    Moreno - Clyne - Grealish - Krul

    Rambo/Sanchez as C likely Alexis - Stevie G as a C differential - 2g + 3 baps and a clean = 32???

Kind of understand the Vardy comment as he's not gonna get you 10 - 15 (Forget that freak day) but, Vardy is simply cheap as chips, playing for THE top scoring and form team and averaging 5.6/game in his last 8 games

Play Pantilimon or Mignolet? Was content on Pants as he has the extra game, but Liverpool look prime for clean sheets

Cazorla or Ramsey? (have Sanchez and Ozil)

I would say Panti and Ramsey. Almost a coin toss on both though

It's a coin toss for both of those! I'd go Pantilimon because he will get two chances at a clean sheet and Cazorla because he is on penalties and Ramsey has had a couple of knocks which might just mean he is the irst one subbed off or first one to be rotated.

    Myhill
    Terry Bellerin Skrtl
    Hazard Sanchez(c) Ozil Larsson
    Kane Aguero Vardy
subs - Hendo Dawson Naught Gilks

    Big question here guys:

    A) Myhill > Panti
    B) Bellerin + Kane > Giroud and (defender) -4pts

Am leading mini league by 14 but rival has Sanchez, Ramsey, Giroud, PVA & Pants.

Please help me win big bucks.

    Hazard > Gerrard ?

    Genius move or insanity?

I have enough to buy him back for GW38

Really depends on who you have on the bench to replace Haz.

        Eh?

I have Hazard already but am considering trading him for Gerrard for one week.

        1. Tom Tom
          • 11 Years

If you have a decent player on your bench, you could play Hazard knowing that if he doesn't start, your benched player is strong. That allows you to make your transfer elsewhere, rather than taking Haz out for one week and then getting him back in. For example you might be able to transfer in Gerrard for someone else this week and have both him and Hazard for the last game of the season.

Either way, your move is not insane

Currently Terry is my first sub, then Cambiasso then Schlupp.

            1. Tom Tom
              • 11 Years
              10 years, 9 months ago

For me that's a very strong bench, so I would play Haz with Terry first sub or even play both (I am playing both and Schlupp in my first team - Terry is nailed on and looking for a goal to beat his previous season record).

You might be right that Gerrard will grab a goal or two for the day that's in it, but Haz out - Haz in leaves your hands tied for GW38, barring hits. If you are set on Gerrard and are weak anywhere else in your midfield, consider a swap there. Otherwise, stick

Neither. Just a bit meh. It is costing you 2FTs (unless a hit). Surely you can use them better?

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Hazard to Gerrard is my one FT for this week so no cost.

I can just see Gerrard having an amazing week as it's his final ever game at Anfield and he'll be revved up for it.

        1. Ruth_NZ
          • 11 Years

Of course there is a cost. 2FTs.

Without the Gerrard move you have 2FTs to use next week and Hazard already in place.

I can think of better uses for 2FTs than Gerrard for 1 game.
