Allow me to play devil's advocaat a bit..

If this end of season has taught us anything is that the majority of us are way off base about our predictions for matches on the basis of "teams have nothing to play for", "they will lay down", or "they just want to have fun".

Many humorously thought Arsenal would rout Sunderland when all the signs pointed to a 1-2 goal at the very most..similarly Chelsea have looked average since clinching the titles. Just because Sunderland are now safe does not mean they're going to magically lay down to a defeat. There's no point in letting the 'feel good' die just because they are safe with one match left. Chelsea has won the PL, they don't really need a romping send-off at home.

I could be wrong, but I wouldn't go back all in on Chelsea assets if you've already sold them.

I guess we'll see final day! I was terrified when I sold Haz given Liverpool's defense but I thought it was the right move. Then I saw him play that match and I was no longer worried for the rest of the season. He can do whatever he wants the final day because I'll be getting points elsewhere and as I've done since I sold 😉

Liverpool’s average weekly wage for 2015 is £67,486, amounting to £3.5 million a year.

This ranks the club as the 14th highest-paying outfit in the world, with Ligue 1’s Paris Saint-Germain (£101,898), La Liga’s Real Madrid (£96,933) and fellow Premier League side Manchester City (£96,445) making up the top three.

In terms of the Premier League, Liverpool pay the fifth-highest weekly wage.

Behind City, Manchester United (£89,988), Chelsea (£83,713) and Arsenal (£77,963) all pay more on average than Liverpool.

Going off this I'd rather have one worldclass player on 200K than three 'squad' players on 70K a week. Depth is overrated.

I hear what you're saying and don't have a firm position on it.

I think Rodgers was approaching CL for the first time, needed to build the squad and had an in form striker who had a cracking 13/14 season in Sturridge. You can't blame him for having confidence that Sturridge could lead the front without having to sign a 200,000/wk player.

However, Rodgers just wasn't factoring in that Sturridge's injuries would keep him out for most of the season.

Going off your stats our position in the league seems to be about right. As frustrating as it is.

Unless Wenger lines up a whole lot of garbage and watches it rot his 3rd place.

United rout Hull and an already-poor Arsenal lose to WBA coming off a 3-0 battering of Chelsea?

          very unlikely, but not impossible

Does Sergio still have a reason to score?
Golden Boot is won. Heck, they might even play Bony aaand Dzeko (but they wont).
    Bony will start tho

Was all set on playing Schmeichel and Morgan ( QPR) but now thinking of swapping one to Panti or PVA (che) to spread the risk and also chances of Panti save points/ PVA attacking threat.

Keep the double Leicester or swap one for a black cat ?

Need some top notch FFS advice...

    My team:
    Fabianski (Pants)
    Kosc ivan terry (Hutton PvA)
    Coutinho Ramsey Hazard Sanchez (Boyd)
    Vardy Kane Aguero

    His team:
    Schmeichel
    Schlupp Bellerin Cahill (Duff/Baird)
    Sanchez Henderson Ramsey Gerrard Hazard
    Kane Aguero Wickham

In terms of similar players we have 5.5 the same (Bellarin/Kosc is the half).
I need to make up a staggering 32 points... In one week...

Who shall I punt on? Currently thinking of chucking Kane and going all in on Ulloa (c) and hammering QPR in a 'friendly' end of season game?
