I can’t deny it – right now my luck is in. Following on from Sadio Mane’s three-minute explosion of points, I’m finding it hard to mask my “smug face” in this week’s ScoutCast episode. You’re advised to stick to the audio version rather than suffer it in full effect via the Google Hangout recording.

Whilst resisting the temptation to revel in my Gameweek 37 glory, I do my best to invite both Granville and Jonty into the conversation to cycle through the ScoutCast regulars. We also tackle another batch of community questions, as you quiz us on final day punts, our Fantasy Football Scout moment of the season and on the state of the Fantasy Premier League game that we know and love.

This episode was recorded on Wednesday evening (prior to Eden Hazard’s visit from the tooth fairy) and beamed live on Google Hangouts.

    I don't think this is about the issue of fixing your team anymore, especially this is the last gameweek of the season.

    Play out your best eleven and if you're trailing, take hits and gamble them and who knows they may even take you higher than your current squad ever do.

      As Hazard and Arsenal players have high ownership I think this weeks main dilemma is to keep hazard and ensure you have a strong bench or swap him for Silva/ Ya Ya/Mata and hoping Arsenal don't rotate leaving you to the mercy of a weak bench i.e. PVA Clyne etc

        You do not need to have a strong bench. I think it's pointless and useless in a way. If you play a good solid eleven, which you must have by this week, you won't even need to call out any one from the bench.

        The point is to score as high as possible - doesn't matter through hits, punts or gambles.

          The problem is that a solid eleven for GW30-37 isn't the same as a solid eleven for GW38. The lineups on the last day of the season are always a bit unpredictable for lots of reasons - FA Cup final, trying out the youth, etc. Man City even played David James up front once!

            Yup my "solid eleven" includes Hazard Benteke Sanchez Giroud and Ramsey all good choices for Dgw 37 but all possible doubts for this week.Probably go safe with Hazard to Silve or Clyne to Kolorov no hits.Good luck everyone anyways.

          Because he's in an important attacker in a team who are scoring goals for fun at home, while Coutinho is in a team that are in a mess off the pitch and playing at a ground where they have a poor record.

          Silva can assist the best striker in the league, Coutinho has no one decent up front.

    So about an hour ago I asked:

    Henderson -> Bolasie.
    OR
    Hazard -> Mata.

    If I get Mata I have to decide whether to play him or Henderson.

    On the other hand, if I do Hazard -> Bolasie, which also works, I'll play Bolasie over Henderson and call it a day.

    Long term affects don't matter, and although Henderson will get game time I doubt Liverpool will score alot of goals against Stoke (wait for this to stab me in the back later).

    Need your thoughts:-

    Chasing a 31 point lead (defending a 30 point lead in another league too)

    Best option:-
    A/ Puncheon and Costa
    B/ n'Doye and yaya
    C/ Lukaku and Herrera
    D/ Jelavic and Herrera/mata (rival might get mata)

    Obviously could mix and match a bit if better and affordable, namely lukaku and punch, etc

    Help? I realise it's probably a lost cause but gotta give t a go. Got 2 FT
