I can’t deny it – right now my luck is in. Following on from Sadio Mane’s three-minute explosion of points, I’m finding it hard to mask my “smug face” in this week’s ScoutCast episode. You’re advised to stick to the audio version rather than suffer it in full effect via the Google Hangout recording.

Whilst resisting the temptation to revel in my Gameweek 37 glory, I do my best to invite both Granville and Jonty into the conversation to cycle through the ScoutCast regulars. We also tackle another batch of community questions, as you quiz us on final day punts, our Fantasy Football Scout moment of the season and on the state of the Fantasy Premier League game that we know and love.

This episode was recorded on Wednesday evening (prior to Eden Hazard’s visit from the tooth fairy) and beamed live on Google Hangouts.

              if you make a note of their current team value, and then see that it changed after they make a transfer, it can sometimes help in guessing at that they've done.

    I am in first place by 29 points. I have giroud, kane and aguero up front.

    Do you think I should take -4 for Bentekkers? I am concerned 2nd place might get him in, captain him and beat me if he has a really good game. Should I take the -4 as insurance against that?

        he doesn't need to score 15. If he gets 9 or 10, I could still lose depending on other players. I am asking since I have a decent cushion, should I take -4 as insurance as I reckon he will bring in Bentekkers.

      I'd get rid of Caz/Ramsey for Mata/Bolasie (or similar), you dont want to start all 3 Arsenal in case it goes tits up. Aside that your starting 11 (if you include Vardy) looks better than your rival's.

    Hi gents.

    Dead square with my ML rival, we're well clear at the top (>60 points) and this is a Money league , so would quite like to finish top of the league.

    Our teams are relatively similar, he has giroud/Ramsey, I have can/bellerin. He has azpil, I have Ivan. We both have Aguero to captain. We both have haz

    The key difference in my mind is he has myhil and I have a GK problem in panti.
    As I see it, I have a few options

    A) get a new GK and hope he keeps Haz too - Copy his Gk (Myhill)
    B) get a new GK and hope he keeps Haz too - Pick a different GK (kasper?)
    C) play without a Gk and swap Haz - silva?
    D) play without a GK and swap Gomez - siggy?

    In all scenarios, my bench would be PVA, Baird and Gomez

        it's not that easy, I tried it last night and there are at least 4 potential combos that come to the same total as the team I was checking. Unless you know a magic formula to work out which one of the four possible combos it was?
