With only three days remaining until the 2015/16 Premier League campaign gets underway, we thought we’d take an in-depth look at the first match of the domestic season, which took place last Sunday. Arsenal’s 1-0 Community Shield victory over Chelsea finally broke Arsene Wenger’s winless streak over nemesis Jose Mourinho, thanks to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s first-half wonder strike.

          Yeah. Fitness may be an issue given the lack of match practise for most of the Spurs team and his Euro Under-21's exploits. Glad to have Lukaku as his placeholder in case I change my mind and opt for Benteke.

      Bear in mind that part of Gomez's appeal for me is that, providing he keeps his place, he could cover bou/sot/nor with WHM/NOR/AVL, as well as BOU in place of Azpi's mci.

        Haha. Our teams are incredibly similar anyway, except from the defence. I really like the WHU/BOU rotation but not totally convinced by their defensive resolve. I've seen Doos championing the SWA/LEI rotation too, but just not sure if I like it as much. But yeah, with Gomez in there too it's great.

            Ludo has Chadli instead of Sterling, which drastically improves the defence. Could have something like - Ivanovic, Cedric, Williams, Huth, Gomez and Ruddy/Rudd if I downgrade Sterling to a 7.0...

              If you're on a GW4 wc I'm not sure I'd start with Sterling

              That being said now I'm not planning a GW2 transfer there could be a logic to going without and getting him GW4 (though I'd still be 1.0 short if I took Kos)
