Today’s action concludes with a fitting climax, as we drop in on the champions at Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea go into the opening day clash with Swansea having won 15 of their 19 home league matches, without suffering defeat.

However, Garry Monk’s side turn up having claimed all three points at Old Trafford on the opening day of last season and will be looking to improve on their performances against the Blues: they shipped nine goals to them last term, suffering 5-0 and 4-2 defeats.

    I didn't captain hazard or Rooney, my new rule since last season is to avoid going with the most popular choice in the captains poll on site, usually backfires. Went with Cazorla with Haz as vice

        Not true, you can choose the 2nd most chosen or third but i've noticed the most popular often doesn't deliver. I'm in the top 4% of FFS players BTW so hopefully finish above 1m!
