Tonight’s Hawthorns encounter between West Brom and Man City brings the curtain down an opening Gameweek that’s failed to live up to most managers’ expectations. Having chalked up 16 clean sheets in the season gone by, the Baggies will be looking to put the brakes on Manuel Pellegrini’s men, whilst the visitors will be buoyed by a round of results that’s already seen title rivals Chelsea and Arsenal stumble out the blocks.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Would need to be a guaranteed thrashing to trump a DGW. The only thing is we have three chips so we need to hope for 3 different DGWs in the season.

I'd say there's a decent chance of it being over-turned, seen as it wasn't a clear goal-scoring opportunity, although they only seem to overturn the really obvious refereeing mistakes, don't they?

Still, early sellers may be burned.

I can't agree with this. Most said CHE 1, MCI 2. A few mooted ARS for 1st but at best, I'm saying 3rd. I think MCI will run CHE close but the top 2 won't change and it's MUN and LIV for 4th, i.e. business as usual. That's not to say that Arsenal, United and Liverpool players won't outscore Chelsea and City players in key positions this season.

just contacted FPL with this message below. If Silva owners can do the same. Thanks!

    Dear FPL

The goal scored by Manchester City against West Brom at 9 mins was awarded to Yaya Toure. Footage of the goal shows that David Silva was the last Manchester City player to touch the ball, therefore, should be awarded the points. I would be grateful if you could review the replay of the goal and credit Silva with the goal.

Thank you for your attention on this.
