Tonight’s Hawthorns encounter between West Brom and Man City brings the curtain down an opening Gameweek that’s failed to live up to most managers’ expectations. Having chalked up 16 clean sheets in the season gone by, the Baggies will be looking to put the brakes on Manuel Pellegrini’s men, whilst the visitors will be buoyed by a round of results that’s already seen title rivals Chelsea and Arsenal stumble out the blocks.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

As class an act as Silva is tonight just goes to show why he isn't a fantasy essential. 6 measly points for such a wonderful performance says it all.

Yeah but that's more than what Sterling got.

Best goalkeeper to replace Courtois? Which of Sterling/Mane/Özil makes space for Payet?

      I am there myself.
      Romero was my first thought.

Gomis looks likely to rise this week but I honestly think it's not worth having him, he will surely be up for rotation!

    Courtois, what are people doing?

I got a non playing 4.0 gk backup, and 0.5 in the bank. But it is one week out only right?

    Looking for advice.
I have Ulloa's dead weight, though could also move Ritchie with eye to bring Wlison in as forward in a few weeks. If I get rid of Ulloa, who are my best options? Defoe? Other thoughts?
Or, if Ritchie out, 6.0 or less middies? Thx!

Perhaps Deeney for the next two weeks?

should have mentioned that I already have Deeney (forward are currently Rooney-Deeney-Ulloa). Great idea, tho!

Then I'd go for Defoe, he has two home games coming up

    Current team for next gw

    Courtois*
    Cedric, Alderweireld, Coates
    Hazard, Sterling, Mane, Özil
    Rooney, Benteke, Sakho

    Hennesey; Fletcher, Morgan, Francis

Am I good if I just transfer Courtois out or is 2nd transfer needed?

I wasn't on here during the match. I can only assume the place erupted when Sterling missed that one on one? I mean jesus christ. Just pass it to the goalkeeper why don't you. His finishing is appalling. But he's guaranteed to get chances like that in this side. Not sure whether to keep. Feel there may be better options for the money tbh.

You might be right.. but he still looked more likely to score than Hazard, Fabregas, Eriksen, HEnderson, Milner, Cazorla, Ramsey, Ozil, Ox etc etc...

Gomez ... short term. Layun in an OOP. But there are several others like Yoshida, Huth, and Colicinni.

I went for Gomez and Richards but Huth, Morgan and Francis are decent options imo
Also Souare or Ward but Palace got tough fixtures until gw 6

I don't see why everyone is so unhappy with this GW. It was low scoring for almost everyone. My 29 points is one of my worst ever GW scores but I'm still less than 15 points off the top of my mini league. Would be a lot worse, for instance, if Hazard got a hattrick for those who didn't captain him
