    24 pts gw1 lol unbelievable. Wildcard activated straight after gw1 for the 3rd season in a row! Worked out very well in the past so would love some feedback please...

      Struck early but I like it (my best finish came after a GW1 wildcard). Aguero, Sanchez & Hazard in and the favourable attacking fixtures of the rest.

        I am certainly not a casual & wildcarded straight after gw1 for the last 2 seasons after terrible starts. Finished with ranks of roughly 9k & 44k so I've gone balls to the wall again.

    Is this accurate?

    WC - worth roughly 5 transfers since you also give up 1 FT that week = 20 points

    BB - Assuming your bench likely populated with 2 pointers + 1 with unexpected returns / CS = 4x2 + 4(CS/goal/assist) = 12 points (no DGW benefit as no DGW player will be benched)

    3XC - Assuming 6 ppg Aguero x DGW = 12 points

    AOA - Assuming 5ppg Mid over injured/benched DEF x DGW = 10 points

      WC has a max limit at 15 -1 transfers = 56 points though more realistically ~ 30 points

      BB 15 x DGWers with your argument ~ 24 points

      3XC yep ~12 points

      AOA no DGW but random week with short term injury/suspension crisis ~ 5 points

        I reckon no chance of BB+DGW.

        1. 15 DGW means 6 teams with DGW which play each other and cancel each other out.

        2. You need to WC 1 week before to get them in, i.e. you cannot have a blank week before.

        3. You need to WC 1 week before to get them in, i.e. you will have a ridiculously low scoring prior week with no DGW and 15 players cancelling each other out.

        4. After DGW your team is completely rubbish with no more WC.

                Agreed if 12 teams have DGW so you won't need to stray far from template.

                But a 12 team DGW is possible, not probable.

                If a 6 team DGW like 2014/15, you can't deploy BB+DGW strategy.
