        I'm worried about Moreno startign the easier home games to offer them pace and width.. Despite what people say about Gomez's "attacking" threat he has none. Also his debut was ok.. not that great. made a couple of mistakes,.

            If you recall very few of fabregas' assists last season were from set pieces and if you see his champions league record last season, he was unlucky to score only 3 goals in the PL. He is one of the best chance creators from open play ( even playing deep ), and was very good in the community shield.
            Can't rule out a player of his class due to 1 bad game.

      Last year fpl stats seemed to be.

      Previous years it either been fiso or totalfpl.

      This year, no ones changed so... We don't know (yet)

    Perhaps kneejerk Ritchie -> Mahrez? I have 1.0m itb, planning GW2 and GW3 FT's so I can grab Aguero GW4 at least.

      If you're intent on losing Ritchie - I would go one of Mahrez, Shelvey or Ayew.

      Pros:

      - Rodgers has a good record for giving youngsters a run (think Flanagan).
      - He doesn't mind a right footed left back Flanagan and Johnson played there)
      - Lovren has struggled defensively and needs a more defensive full back alongside him (Gomez could do a simlar job to Azpilecueta protecting Terry, albeit no where near his level).
      - Moreno has struggled defensively (he loses concentration and doesn't have the best positonal sense).
      - First seven tough away games.

      Cons:

      - May prefer a more attacking left back at home, particularly for crosses to Benteke.. Although Gomez got an assist that was more down to Coutinho's brilliance.

      Benteke should Be but he was awful v Stoke, no movement or energy.

      Sakho was the complete opposite.

      If I had both I think I may edge towards Sakho, but I don't 😆

      Sakho was impressive against Arsenal. Will Huth/Morgan be able to cope with his pace/power?

      montero looks very good but is a rotation risk and is only an assister. mahrez clearly more potential of the 2, but payet and ayew a class above.

        I think a WC will do better later, seems too jerky atm. Team looks good on paper, just need to get rid of Sterling and Sinclair. I'd like to make som room for Aguero and Silva/Yaya from GW4 and onwards.

        I know it's always bad but this year seems unreal. Ayew seems "essential" and Sterling seems a less popular pick than Carrick all from one set of games.
