      Its more because the premium midfielders are all not performing so there is no obvious option to swap to. And i would prefer to wait 1gw before getting in the likes of mahrez as they are less proven than the big hitters. To me saving ft seems more sensible.

      Obviously i have expected walcott to be benched this gw..him starting is a bonus

    1 trade made. Romero for Hennessey

    My GW 2 Team:

    Romero - (McCarthy)

    Bellerin - Gomez - Cedric - Azp - (Huth)

    Haz - Mahrez - Ox - (Sinclair - Benta)

    Aguero - Kane (C) - Rooney (VC)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I was very pleased with my GW1 side. Knew starting Gomez was the right punt. Unlucky though with Bellerin not starting.
    Unless the Courtois appeal is successful (unlikely). Which move makes more sense:
    A. Adrian (downside - I have Oxford and plan on playing him, so double Hammers?)
    B. Mignolet (downside - the away fixtures)
    C. Fabianski (downside - doesn't have as much clean sheet potential as the above two)
      It's a bit knee jerk. Palace can't defend and I think sterling will do well with his pace against Chelsea who were just torn apart by just that. Save transfers, make them week after. Mahrez is not going to be a 180 plus midfield player let's all settle down.
    Present team:
    Rooney, Sakho (Wilson)
        I am not sure about using the WC just yet. I might save it for juggling my team before the busy Christmas time, but again I would not want to miss the Aguero boat. From that point-of-view, saving the transfer and waiting one more week seems a reasonable strategy. Sterling > Mahrez frees up the cash. And I could do Henderson + Sakho > Aguero + 4.5m
    Moring guys,
    Would you wildcard this team?
    Ruddy
    Ivanovic / Koscielny / Huth
    Walcott / Hazard / Milner / Chadli
    Wilson / Pellè / Rooney
    Butland / Fletcher / Cédric / Francis
    Would look at bringing Aguero and Sanchez in, and probably downgrade Hazard to Oscar and Ivan to 4.5.
    Otherwise it'll be Wilson -> Sakho.
    Walcott's become a real headache!
      30 points is not a bad score this week. The top quality players don't have much more than that. My mini league top ten is entirely casuals and girlfriends!
        Early days and 37 weeks to go, it's just so annoying that after all that tinkering it went so bad 🙂
          Average, like everyone else's. But quite happy with my team so will see how the next few go and then evaluate the WC situation. Just gotta be patient.
    Guys how is shelvey as an option? Cheaper than Ayew at 5.5m and pretty central to all the action.
          Agreed.. He and Montero were brilliant!! then came on here and everyone was talking about gomis and ayew(who was good too.. dont get me wrong, but not as great as the otehr 2) cause of the goals as usual
            youre spot on. Personally thought Gomis should have done more, Ayew deff has good potential for goals but so does Siggy who is proven in this league. At his price, Shelvey is great value and if the signs on Saturday are anything to go by he could have a great season, both he and Swansea in general were very good.
      i like too, should have ended Saturdays game with more points, created 6 chances but none were taken.. looks a great option with Ayew, Siggy and Gomis all looking as if they will give him potential for assists.
    Tranfering Rooney, Walcott and Hendo out for Shelvey, Payet and Aguero over the course of the next three weeks for this side with a 4 point hit, thoughts?
    Ruddy (Rudd)
    Azpilicueta Cedric Koscielny (Taylor Targett)
    Shelvey Hazard Sterling Payet (Barry)
    Aguero Benteke Sakho
      Speaking as a fellow Benteke owner, he's the key to my transfer plans
      He was absolutely lost at the weekend - even Balotelli would have offered more threat
      If he doesn't get his freak on this weekend then he'd be be the first one out the door
      I don't think there's much positive to say about any of the WB players, they were completely over-run
      Actually, no - just the one - Saido looked like he meant business and was tracking back like a MOFO, which tells me he's not angling for a move to Spurs or anyone else
    There seems to be a lot less resistance to early wildcards this season.
    I assume this is because have to use it by gw19 anyway but i dont wanna use it till i know what im gonna do with my chips, the wc will be so helpful for sorting out the aftermath of bench boost or all out attack
