Will Aguero and Sanchez start next match? I think so, they both look fit. City wants to beat Chelsea and Arsenal desperately needs to win.

    Comments?

Who to choose for next 2 games and why?

    A) Deeney

    B) Defoe

I am more convinced by Defoe because of better fixtures but could someone tell me why Deeney is a much better option if so?

      I just hope so.
      Giroud was below-par through-out!

But it's Arsene who decides and he's know to favour some players above meritocracy. 🙂

      I'd go Payet.

More pedigree than Ayew, and I don't like Monk as a manager FPL wise. Lots of early substitutions, even for his better players.

I hope he doesn't rise till the Chelsea game as I have already used a FT and don't want to take a hit.

      dont know about oxford.
Gomez is a real maybe. At home next against bournemouth so would seem logical even with Rodgers weird tactics.

I think a part of why he played him was cause hes big and stronger than moreno probably and needed it for stoke game.

id probably risk gomez in 1st team with hopefully a definite starting defender on my subs to replace if needed, if you have that..

SUCH an annoying scoreline for city. Was anyone honestly expecting that?

I thought if it was going to happen on the off chance then Sterling would get some points because I'm a liverpool fan and was so glad when he left that I thought he'd get points JUST TO SPITE ME. But no. He doesn't. To spite me.

wouldnt it make more sense to, if i was going to, trade out Bertrand at 5.5 (who likely isnt back anytime soon) and I have 1.5m in bank so 7m to play with. then bench jagielka

my main worry is getting a full team of 1st team players so can rotate a bit

Despite a poor 28 points I'm planning on on saving an ft and bringing in kun for gw3, in a move that will see Walcott go......Is that the best plan with this lot?

    Ruddy
    Azpi Mertesacker coates (huth target)
    Hazard Walcott Ozil mane (Wanyama)
    Rooney Benteke Wilson

    Please advise!....

    Walcott owners keeping?

The only basis I'll keep is I don't know which cheapie to jump on. Tempted to get Mahrez as he allows aguero funds. Plus I thought he was outstanding and good stats albeit in the smallest sample size. Expect Leicester to keep up their attacking form from last year too.

      Yes, keeping.

I bought him knowing he was a rotation risk, nothing has changed, apart from us losing making him more likely to start the next game.

      • 10 Years

remember that LEI up next have hammers at their home ground who just beat a seemingly in form Arsenal side. Then they have to play spurs. Mahrez points could well and truly be a one off until they play Bournemouth.

      1. joebloom

Yes, keeping. best to wait one week and see who is standing out. Also, I'll probably be doing a double transfer and taking out Sterling as well, so might split the funds and get Hazard and a cheapie

What are people doing with Courtois - especially those with a £4m goalie?

I'm thinking of playing with 10 men - especially as Chelsea are playing City so a clean sheet isn't likely anyway.

      Blimey bit soon for that.

too many punts I think. Swap Schlupp for Morgan and Cleverley for Mahrez. Also not keen on Defoe.

      Gomis is great though.

Keep an eye on price rises at fplstatistics and draft in potential price risers just in case they have a double rise....unlikely esp with the shorter gameweek but worth doing.

There was just no salvaging my Gameweek 1 side. It was a mess! Hoping I can pick a steady side for the rest of the season.

Everyone bigging up Mahrez but isn't that a Gameweek 1 thing?

It would be good if the season was just GW1 over and over again.

    Pick 2 for GW2:

    1. Azpi - MCI (A)
    2. Kosc - CRY (A)
    3. Francis - LIV (A)
    4. Darmian - AVL (A)

Already have Cedric in the lineup, as he has EVE (H)

      Kosc & Darmian

      Darmian and Kosc.

Palace are not so good at home and expect Arsenal to bounce back. Chelski look shaky at the back right now and City look like a good bet to score against them.

No love for Siggy? Or is Ayew the way to go

Was very quiet against Chelsea, but there aren't many better at keeping 10's quiet than Matic. A wait and see I think.

Set pieces are a big part of his appeal and he didn't have corners against Chelsea, Shelvey did.

I want to get ayew in, but i dont know who for my midfield is looking like this right now
Hazard - Walcott - Mane - Ritchie with only 0.5 left, should i get him or not?

      Mane > ayew

Current back 5 of Azpi - Mert - Cedric - Toby - Saylor

    Should I do:

    A: Saylor > Oxford
    B: Mert > Darmian?

Save, not worth a transfer when you have 4 decent options to pick from

With Darmian due to rise tonight I'm tempted to bring him in for either Mert or Azpi. Chelsea have a tough run coming up and look shaky at the back.

Think this is the fourth summer on the bounce now. There never seems to be any real substance to the rumours

Well using my wild card on Sunday to make the most of price changes has gone really well. What the hell is going on this year?

Are the price changes and extra buttons just a leveller for casuals.

Targett only has one or two games left before he's back bench warming. I'd look somewhere else.

Anyone shipping Chelsea defenders (and releasing some cash) with five tough games coming up and them looking shaky at the back?

In order to get Aguero for GW4 I have two options. Which one would you choose:
    A) Koscielny+Benteke+Rooney-->Darmian+Sakho+Aguero
    B) Koscielny+Sterling+Rooney-->5m+Payet+Aguero
