          Many with a plan for aguero will have to shoe horn him now. Even those with 1FT and 2.5 in the bank and Roonpig as make weight

          It is not insane to WC in GW 2. In fact this seems to be a perfect week for it. I expect more price changes this week than in international break GW 4 tbh. If you don't have the form players asap, you will be priced out before GW3. It all depends on how your team is doing of course.

      Last year it seemed that transfers made on wildcards did not count toward the amount needed to trigger a price change. The price prediction sites can't tell how many of the total transfers for a player were made with a wildcard or not. Therefore the sites were less accurate when a lot of wildcards were being used.

          It would seem so although FPL does not disclose the mechanisms for the price changes so we are left to guess based on what we have observed. FPL have often changed how the price changes work between seasons.

    Got mahrez, payet, haz, gomis, darmian but would have to do a -4 to get kin in for Rooney.

    Worth doing or WC to save the points? Id double up on city and bank the price rises too.

      Absolutely not worth a QX - not sure on your GKs or defenders but I'd say no way. People are forgetting international breaks, injury crises, big injuries to star strikers or goalkeepers and the end of the transfer window affecting real life starting XIs in my opinion.

          What about protecting / boosting your bank?

          Always possible with an early wc when you don't have value tied up in players thus you have a clean slate.

          A few droppers very likely this week combine this with players you want rising and the hits to get there and the very real chance of being priced out.

            Good points Tony. But it's the same every year but we don't WC because usually the FFS template starts well or at least reasonably.
            People have had bad starts and it's causing mass panic.
            TV/ SV is over rated anyway.
            I'm jumping on 2 risers with my 2 FTs, that's enough for me at this stage.
            Keeping the WC for the bigger fixture swings or an injury crisis.

        "The Wildcard chip can be used twice a season, once in the first half of the season (before 28 Dec 14:00) and once in the second half of the season.

        Wildcards are played on the transfers page but aren't active until you have confirmed the transfers."

    Yaya or Silva? Silva has always trolled me whereas I have great memories of Yaya. Even last season 10 league goals isnt that bad.

    The extra 1.5 means a Benteke instead of Gomis.

    I don't get all this Ayew love on here. I reckon Gomis is the better of the two and there are more mid field assets to look at for fantasy potential and coverage personally I'm not so sure on Sakho either so I brought in Payet. But all this Ayew business is perplexing me looking back at his career, I think it's just short term and I hope he won't be the one that got away from me. 🙂
