Game week 2 arrives at its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Merseyside for the first ever league meeting between the two clubs. After a multitude of armband options failed us again, many will be looking to Reds attack to save yet another disappointing round of results for Fantasy managers.

Certainly, Liverpool carried plenty of threat in front of their own fans last season. Despite scoring only 30 times at Anfield in 2014/15, Brendan Rodgers’ men fired a total of 331 attempts – only City and Arsenal managed more efforts when it came to home encounters.

As for Bournemouth, they arrive at Anfield boasting a fine away record in their Championship winning season, claiming eight victories and suffering just five defeats on the road, with a goal difference of plus 30.

Delving into last week’s data, though, tonight’s two sides managed just one big chance and five shots on target between them in Gameweek 1, suggesting that both sides will need to improve in the final third should they have ambitions for three points.

        1) If Coutinho could get closer to Benteke to pick up/hold/return the endless flicks and knock-downs, they could become a points machine.

        2) Clyne is a beast, how did he not join one of the big four?

        3) Brendan Rodgers' teams remind me of those pictures of webs made by spiders on various drugs- sometimes they look crazy/cool, sometimes they look crazy/terrible, but at no point do they ever look normal.

          Have to agree regarding Clyne, still one of the best players (especially for his age) I had the honour to see play over 100 games for us when I had my season ticket, was always one of the academy players we knew was going to "make it"
