Game week 2 arrives at its conclusion this evening as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth to Merseyside for the first ever league meeting between the two clubs. After a multitude of armband options failed us again, many will be looking to Reds attack to save yet another disappointing round of results for Fantasy managers.

Certainly, Liverpool carried plenty of threat in front of their own fans last season. Despite scoring only 30 times at Anfield in 2014/15, Brendan Rodgers’ men fired a total of 331 attempts – only City and Arsenal managed more efforts when it came to home encounters.

As for Bournemouth, they arrive at Anfield boasting a fine away record in their Championship winning season, claiming eight victories and suffering just five defeats on the road, with a goal difference of plus 30.

Delving into last week’s data, though, tonight’s two sides managed just one big chance and five shots on target between them in Gameweek 1, suggesting that both sides will need to improve in the final third should they have ambitions for three points.

    Henderson off before 60 mins. Possibly means i lose 4 points between potential bonus, cleansheet points, etc.And of course he assisted (offside mind you) Benteke who i don't have and many have captained. This game is the most frustrating thing ever.

        Oh i know, much worse has happened, many many times lol. But just ask myself every year why i keep playing. Love the game so much, but hate it so much too.

          This season start has been my most frustrating for a while for me.
          This game is OK for me though- got Gomez, Milner & Benteke.

            Gomez doing well for me. Henderson was doing great, but going off means he got just 4 pts...instead of anywhere between 6-8 so that pissed me off. Not a huge deal, but the small things add up. Also have Wilson since Walcott didn't play, and he hasn't done anything unsurprisingly.

        What 'fixtures' would they be then Arsenal who didn't deserve to beat Palace and lost at home to West Ham, the aforementioned West Ham, Man Utd, Norwich and Villa. Arguably two tricky games without question three games they ought to be winning comfortably
