Manchester United once again beckon in the new Gameweek, this time playing host to Newcastle United in a 12.45pm kick-off. The Red Devils go in search of their third successive victory, while the Magpies look to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat against Swansea last time out.

Man United recorded just six clean sheets at Old Trafford in the previous campaign but have yet to concede this season. Louis van Gaal’s charges restricted opposing teams to just one big chance over the opening two Gameweeks, underlining their disciplined start at the back.

In contrast, the Magpies have been breached on four occasions already and will have to do without suspended right-back Daryl Janmaat during their visit to Manchester. Those Fantasy managers who’ve invested in their forward line will be concerned by the fact that no side has fashioned fewer attempts inside the box (seven) than the Tynesiders.

    If you were going to construct the perfect FPL midfielder, you would come up with something very close to Memphis Depay.

    A goalscorer who shoots on sight, but also takes free kicks and corners.

      Hard to justify bringing him in (for me). Happy with my midfield, barring possibly Silva in for Hazard. Plus, fixtures aren't great.

      I'd love to fit him in, but it's inconvenient right now.
