Having relinquished leads in their last two league ties, Tottenham Hotspur chase a morale-boosting victory over Everton on home turf in today’s tea-time encounter. The Toffees, meanwhile, were outclassed by a superior Manchester City side but will take heart from their dominance over Southampton in a 3-0 win on their first road trip.

Spurs rank sixth for shots inside the box (27) and big chances (six) this season but suffer from a poor shot conversion rate (7.3%). Of more concern to Mauricio Pochettino, his troops still haven’t discovered that optimum balance between attack and defence, given that they rank joint-fourth with regards to big chances conceded (six).

Despite netting five goals this term, Everton have chalked up just ten shots on target, so there’s certainly scope for the Merseysiders to improve on the attacking front. On the flipside, they’ve only conceded two big chances against Watford, Saints and Man City, which suggests Spurs’ forward line are in for a challenging contest.

      Aye. My advice is to forget all about OR and concentrate just on mini leagues. It makes taking hits a lot more user friendly and makes the whole game less demoralising. OR is like a slow torture.

    Funny old game football isn't it!

    Who'd have thought that after only 4 matches, the reigning champions are EIGHT points off the leaders?

    That Man Utd and Liverpool would have only scored twice. That Aguero would have 1 goal, Hazard Rooney and Kane none at all.

    That 66% of Arsenal's small tally of 3 goals would be scored by their opponents.

    That only 7 of the 37 matches so far would have resulted in home wins.

    That Leicester would have got 8 points..yes I know they finished last season strongly but most thought Ranieri a strange appointment!

    That neither Stoke, Southampton or Spurs, all fancied for the top 8, would have failed to win so far.

    That Chelsea wouldn't have won at home.

    That the highest placed of the promoted sides would be the one who failed to go up automatically.

    Let's hope things settle down soon, for the sake of us FF players!
