Having relinquished leads in their last two league ties, Tottenham Hotspur chase a morale-boosting victory over Everton on home turf in today’s tea-time encounter. The Toffees, meanwhile, were outclassed by a superior Manchester City side but will take heart from their dominance over Southampton in a 3-0 win on their first road trip.

Spurs rank sixth for shots inside the box (27) and big chances (six) this season but suffer from a poor shot conversion rate (7.3%). Of more concern to Mauricio Pochettino, his troops still haven’t discovered that optimum balance between attack and defence, given that they rank joint-fourth with regards to big chances conceded (six).

Despite netting five goals this term, Everton have chalked up just ten shots on target, so there’s certainly scope for the Merseysiders to improve on the attacking front. On the flipside, they’ve only conceded two big chances against Watford, Saints and Man City, which suggests Spurs’ forward line are in for a challenging contest.

If I saved 2 FTs for this week and choose to WC for GW5, do I keep the 2 FTs for the following GW? Also, would it then be a better idea to WC the following week, after using the 2 FTs this week? :/

Sakho -> Wilson to catch the price rises ?

Was my planned transfer, but does Sakho's goal today change things? Nice fixture home to NEW in a fortnight but building team value is quite important early on.

    2 FT, 0.5m itb

    Butland - McCarthy
    Gomez - Darmian - Williams - Richards - Kolarov
    Chadli - Payet - Mahrez - Sanchez - Silva
    Gomis - Aguero - Watmore

thinking of getting in Wilson and Westwood to go into a 343 and debating who to sell in mid along with Watmore

    A) Chadli
    B) Payet
    C) Mahrez

leaning B since he's not a goalscoring mid but also possibly A as Tottenham aren't full of confidence

Here's my team since the beginning of the season, and I'm generally sticking with it. Might get Sako for Cabaye and anther D for Janmaat, but otherwise, why panic? Have 200 points with Pelle and Ki (for Ozil) yet to play. Stop chasing points.

    Courtois
    Kolarov Bellerin Clyne
    Pedro Ozil Payet Cabaye
    Pelle Aguero Defoe
    Bench: Ki Morgan Janmaat Myhill

These early and late kick-off games have been shocking. Watched 3 games today:

    Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal
    Man City 2-0 Watford
    Spurs 0-0 Everton

All real poor games lacking entertainment, only Silva worth watching.

I don't rate him at all. Only put Kane in last year when he was absolutely forced to. The guy was scoring goals for fun in Europa and cups and there was talk of him getting sacked if he didn't play Kane in the league.

Had one good season at Southampton, but he's been found out at Spurs.

Some unexpected goal scorers today. Falcao, Noble, Sinclair, Ward and the Ox shot deflection. Not sure there will be many bandwagons post GW 4 if this trend continues tomorrow.
Should I hold off on the WC during the international break. Might be useful holding it for as long as possible. Don't see much opportunity to increase team value.

Team for next week looks alright.

    Ruddy
    Mertesacker Azpi Cedric Francis 4.0
    Ozil Alexis Silva Mahrez Redmond
    Aguero Diouf Wilson

    Thoughts?

    Thanks.
