      In my opinion, I can't see Norwich getting many clean sheets. Could you get Butland?

      Coates lost his place today. Defence looks solid otherwise.

      How longs Mahrez out for?

      I have Pelle, but I'm losing faith in him, he has tomorrow to prove me wrong or he's out. He gets described like a Donkey 🙁

      Gks - Courtois offers amazing value at 5.4 if CHS can keep cs.
      Defenders - 3. LEI and SUN look unlikely to yield many cs. Cedric could be Dawson.
      Mids- Just Ritchie. Ideally Payet or Pedro if you have the cash.
      Fwds: 2. Pelle needs to be Gomis and Benteks could be Wilson or Vardy to free up cash to get Pedro.

      You have a perfectly good team for the next GW there.

      I'd wait on tomorrow, if Pelle scores you can keep him with WBA up next.

      Maybe shift Coates for Nyom or Francis now to avoid the price drop - he's the essential change. Decide on the wildcard later. But personally I don't think it's needed.

        This is exactly what is happening - lots of people maintaining an interest and bringing in the players who are scoring well - and these have continued to do well, e.g. Mahrez, United defenders, Wilson, etc

      Arsenal's stats vs. their results are pretty shocking. Reckon it's something deeper than just bad luck or contingency.

        There are other things, probably, but big part of it has to be bad luck. Just has to be. The lack of correspondence between stats and results is far too shocking. Just two things to assure you of this: 1) look at the actual chances, e.g. those for Giroud against Pool and Walcott against Newcastle and Sanchez in every fecking match; 2) then check the conversion rates of the said fellows from few seasons back. They're shooting at shite rates now, but it's a small sample, very likely to be _mostly_ down to extremely bad luck.

          I think part of It is that they're almost too good. They're tripping up over each other in the box most of the time. It's like they've tipped over the edge from really good to confusion.

    Sakho owners (and those who want to give their opinion), I think it's not necessary to sell him for Wilson just yet. I reckon a home game against Newcastle is not a bad fixture. The only reason I see to sell would be for a rise in TV, but then again do you really want to use your FT before knowing the inevitable injuries international break brings?

    Question: When do we stop trying to build team value? 😆 .. this is getting insane
    Follow up Question: Why are we desperate to build team value when there are so many options across all price ranges and we can afford 3 big hitters right now if we wanted(10+) already and choose not to do so?

      I dont think i've ever ended a season with less than 2 million lying around wasted.. All these sleepless nights and early transfers and hits (and WCs) could end up being for nothing if the sub 8.5's continue performing as well as they are

      Just a thought... In the past I've heard plenty say that you need to build TV in the first half of the season, then you can get the best team possible on your January WC, and attack the second half of the season with it (no longer worrying about TV). If we're saving that second half WC for a DGW, though, is there an argument that this is no longer so relevant?

    30 (38-8) points + Ayew this week. Not the worst score ever but considering my double hit, it was disappointing. I have problems with the certainty of starts with Coates and Gomez, is it wiser to transfer them out or just give them another week and use the ft elsewhere?
