i know Rodgers has spent a lot of money but where has it actually gone? I read somewhere that Liverpool can't attract the A* star players because of wage demands which is fair enough but their recruitment policy is woeful.
Ings, Milner, Gomez, Lallana, Lovren, Allen etc is this the best they can do. Go back a few years they had Reina, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard, Torres etc.
I like Coutinho. Benteke was a beast for Villa. Mignolet can be decent. Clyne was impressive for Saints. Sturridge is great when fit. The rest? Meh.
Where will they finish this season?-

United are almost in the same boat as Liverpool they can't seem to attract any top players anymore -

All the players like Alonso you mentioned, were not world class when we bought them, we never bought top class players, we made top class players and sold them, Liverpool is a business and has been for many years now and the owners only want profit-
Also Emre Can who isn't mentioned at all is a great signing

Yep, you'd do good to build a team around him. If all your young signings from the last year or two stick together, Liverpool will be serious contenders in a couple of years, even after losing Sterling which was a bit of a blow.

Milner was a good bit of business in the sense that it was a free transfer.. please dont put James Milner and great in the same sentence he's been no more than a decent player his whole career..
Gomez looks like a talented young player and has performed admirably given his age but amazing?-
Anybody who can already look the part as a PL defender aged 18 is on for great things, defenders especially are usually late bloomers compared to positions further forward.

Mascherano and Torres I would argue were already stars. Alonso was known about. Hardly complete unknowns.
Firminio did look very good in Germany yes, forgot about him. Gomez has played 4 games. Hardly seen anything yet. Paddy Mccnair looked amazing for a few games last season.
I dont rate Milner. Surely you would have rather had your grav picture Ayew? How about Konoplyanka? Yarmolenko? Shaqiri? Payet? Cabaye?
A lot of good players out there.-

Firmino is in a similar position to when we bought Torres Alonso and Mash, becoming stars, what Liverpool try and do is buy these players, make them stars and Sell them, like Coutinho will be on his way this summer!
Paddy Mcflair was useless, he looked terrible! You don't rate Milner - not a good point! Cabaye and Shakira the only names there that would start

To be quite honest, I've never played a WC after GW4 (then again I've been a casual and only played two seasons 😛 ) and I thought I was going to pull the trigger early as well. Something about my flexible structure I built at the beginning helped me make transfers on the players in-form; as well as, keep the big hitters in. That's one thing I'm happy with this season so far.

Why do they put them down when they "just" have a broken leg etc.? I know it would cost a lot of money to fix them up and pay for stabling for the rest of their lives. Surely that industry has enough cash to set up a sort of benevolent fund for such occurrences?

I think water gets in the junction box where our phone line joins the main spur. It often goes shaky when it rains. Has done on and off for a coupleo f years. phone company is useless.
