Right, this might be the Soave talking (yes, Doos, you got me hooked on Co-op Soave), but I think staying the course is still the way to go (except with regard to the armband). Unless he is long-term injured, I think Aguero will score big soon, and Pedro scored well for two weeks straight before this total team meltdown. Sanchez is on the verge of a big haul, and for many (Gomis, Ayew, Silva, Diouf, etc) this GW was just a blip. As bad as this GW seems, there is no real need for wholesale change in my view. Hazard is a real worry for his price, as are Ivan and Terry, and of course if Aguero is seriously injured he must go. But generally I think it should be business as usual for next week. Thoughts?

Agreed, chased points too many times, I do have two free ones but probably won't use them, I know my team has big points in it but it needs to happen sharpish as I'm now 80pts behind leader in the money mini league, a Sanchez or Aguero hatty as captain would be nice, no one else in my league seams to have either!

I would not be saying this if there were obvious alternatives, but there aren't. The reason casuals are doing so well right now, I think, is that things are so unpredictable. When things are unpredictable the top ranks will not be dominated by people who study, follow statistics, and cleave to the historically "blue chip" players. But the ones who are doing well are not pursuing some mysterious alternative template, they are where they are because they happened to pick the players that are doing well in this unpredictable situation. We just have to trust that information and analysis will win through in the end.

How bad an idea would it be to get Martial on a wildcard?

From the scoutcast I watched Thurs, 1st rule of FF is getting players who are nailed on plus not great fixtures (I can see why you asked as strikers at the minute are poor)

Guy seems top quality, getting rave reviews from his piers before he even kicked a ball in this country.

Atleast Aguero's injury involved him being tackled on 24 minutes this time so you know it wont be a long period out.. i'll never forget the time he came back and just fell to the ground clutching his thight at 24 minutes a few years back. You just knew that would be a long term one..

I'm starting to think that the trusted 343 formation is not working this season (until top players perform), maybe switch to 442 or 352?

352 can definitely work, not sold on 442

Does not matter what formation is played at the moment.. everything's been cr@p.

That being said i have a hybrid.. a mix between a 3-5-2 and a 3-4-3 with Shelvey/Wilson and Mahrez rotating for 2 spots

Lots like Wilson on here, I think he not that great, he won't be in my team all season and don't think I will be worse off for it.
