A bit stuck with this lot.

    Butland
    Kolarov, Gomez, Francis
    Sanchez. Pedro, Yaya, Mahrez
    Kun, Benteke, Wilson

    Schemichel, Prodl, Anya, Cedric

    2FT, 0.1m any ideas?

This is true. But they are getting decent baps and prefer Swansea over Southampton at the moment.

Losing Cedric could be a good shout...though don't like those suggestions as replacement. Will take a look at possible replacements now.

A WBA defender looks like your best option there. If you're feeling punty have a look at Amavi who will play high up the pitch if, as rumoured, Sherwood shifts to a 3-man defence.

          1. Nabs Kebabs
            • 14 Years
            10 years, 7 months ago

Yeah i like the flair of Amavi but it is hard paying the 5mil for Villa defence. Not sure he offers a lot more than Cedric. Dawson is the one i think i may go for but the lack of bonus is again frustrating.

Palace has the best fixtures and held city to 1 goal. Dan could be a good shout. Wba is another good point.

Schmeichel is a problem, Leicester just don't look like keeping cleanies anytime soon. I'd strongly consider selling him for Myhill (surely he'll keep his place after the recent CSs) or McCarthy if you want some spare money for a rainy day. Both moves do carry an element of risk however, as you know.

If you don't fancy that then get rid of Anya.

      1. Nabs Kebabs

Like the Myhill shout..bap magnet this season with the saves rule change and lack of BPS in WBA defenders. I think Leicester have actually had pretty tough fixtures defensively so not sure on that call but could be a good move and probbaly more benficial than losing Anya.

They just look like a very attacking team under Ranieri, although Inler might help solidify their midfield to some extent.

lol I got Redmond in on my ft, woke up & saw Norwich scored 3 goals, feeling happy then saw Hoolahan was the player to get.

What to do with this team. Thoughts welcome. 1ft & 1.6itb
    Butland, (McCarthy)
    Kolorov, Shaw, Williams, (Gomez, Richards)
    Sanchez, YYT, Ayew, Mahrez, (Redmond)
    Aguero, Gomis, Diouf

I feel I can save my ft with only Shaw, Sanchez & Mahrez in my starting 11 playing away.
If I was going to make any changes then defence I suppose. Williams to Bellerin.

I wouldn't. West Ham have already upset 2 big teams on the road this season, so Sakho has every chance of scoring again. He has a good fixture the week after too.

Ok guys I'm a regular poster here but i have to admit im stumped after last night!! Would really appreciate peoples thoughts on this:

    Butland

Azpil // Kolarov // Cedric (Saylor, Oxford)

Yaya // Mahrez // Payet // Ayew (wanyama)

    Aguero // Costa // Benteke

Currently thinking of Costa --> wilson (and maybe payet to pedro for -4) and free up some funds.

    Other comments are appreciated!

Don't think there is any yet. He was only ever sore in ankle and being rested in advance of important CL match vs Juve and that didn't change today, because he had no activity. I'd assume that unless he injures it mid-week while playing, that he'll be good to go next weekend. At least that's what has been the word so far.

Yeah, went with Butland as he's looking pretty good value with the amount of points he's getting from saves, especially with this season's save points changes.

Who I'm shipping Hazard out for is still on the table. After looking at Arsenal's schedule not too tempted by Özil at least before their fixtures take a turn to the easier in a few weeks.

he had a couple of bright spots but still nowhere near what he is capable of, but it's hard to tell the level of his individual performance when the whole team is in such disarray

I watched the game, he didn't do anything to prove that he was worth the price tag. Looked dangerous on the ball (as usual) but his final ball was poor. Yes, if Costa was a bit more sharper he may of had an assist.

I thought Pedro was just as dangerous, if not more dangerous then Hazard in terms of FPL. Fancy dribbles mean nothing in this game. Pedro had a couple of pop shots and made great runs.

I think we are defining heavy-hitters according to their price this season and hence it is looking like it is the season of the CASUALS. For example- Cazorla , YYT etc. are not heavy-hitters according to many on the site here.....hence what we are doing is that we are getting elite mids and cheap mid-price mids but no mids from the 8-9m bracket and this is the bracket which has the most no.of mids from the top sides

Are we missing a trick hee?

Yeah. From the highlights he was somehow in a central position in a 3v2. Not sure how that happened.

When Chelsea tighten up it'll be interesting to see if Jose unleashes him or makes him stay perched, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter given their early season defensive form
