I like making early changes at times. Leads to a stressless week in terms of thought unless until injuries occur.

    Two questions, folks:

    1. Should I swap Martial for Costa? (I have excess leftover Aguero funds that I don't want to waste spreading around)

Sagna to Bellerin soon, but your pressing issue is Sakho. I would transfer him out for Pelle or Lukaku (although this week's fixtures are tough, look beyond this week!)

This is probably a popular topic on the comments sections but will give it a go anyway ...
Is it too late to jump on Vardy at 6.9m? I feel I may have missed the boat with this one!

Also another thought, prior to the season the thought of -4 was frowned upon and dismissed. Whether it's been injuries or suspensions that's forced your hand to make a -4, the general consensus feel like a -4 isn't as bad as what we once thought, are you still hesitant to make two transfers or do you still try to stay clear?

    1. Thomas Magnum
      • 10 Years
      10 years, 5 months ago

Yeah I haven't had Vardy all year and probably wont be getting him anytime soon as I have other priorities and I'll only ever take a -4 if I'm certain it will work out for example last week I did Ivan to Azpi for a hit because I was certain Chelsea would keep a clean sheet

    2. Rains of Castamere
      • 11 Years

      Last week -8 for
      Pedro to KDB
      Gomez to Bertrand
      Aguero to Pelle

      Mulling over a -12

Martial to Costa and captain. Didnt do it, would have worked out nicely

I always say that a player who makes the right calls on point hits will always beat one who will avoid them at all costs - but normally if you do them repeatedly (and not for injuries) then you will always come unstuck at some point.

Norwich were awful but Newcastle for the first time looked very dynamic going forward. Sissoko, Ayoze and Wijnaldum were linking very well on the break.

Ayoze is definitely an underrated player - he is very composed and has great awareness which is rare in a young forward.

I'm not one to overestimate our team, more the opposite, but we did look very good going forward, but still terrible at the back. We also looked good going forward against Chelsea and first half against City, so I'm quite confident we will score goals over the nice run of fixtures, and wijnaldum will be involved. We will also concede a lot tho.

You think njie will nail that spot. I only caught first half but he looked out of sorts most the time albeit with some threatening moments. Looks more suited to impact sub.

Lack of other options may help but anyone of Dembele, Townsend, Ali or mason (when fit) could push into the front 3

My team has descended into chaos. What do I do with this? I'm thinking a hit or 2 to clean it up.

    Butland, schmeicel

    Kolarov, darmian, Richards, Huth, Francis

    Hazard, Sanchez, Ayew, Mahrez, KDB

    Gomis, bojan, Pelle

Only got 1 FT. Thinking I need to replace Ayew, gomis and haz. Maybe get in vardy, oil and wijnaldum for -8?

      I would personally keep ayew.

      Bench Ayew

I'd just get rid of one of the Swansea boys for now. Gomis to Vardy looks good. Wait to see line-up for champions league before making decisions on Hazard but if his starting place looks dubious for the weekend then get rid

          Yea, I think it is.

Bony is a nice option anyway after the Man U game, and as for the Man U game I am certainly expecting returns from him as well, what better way for Bony to prove his worth than to score in the big derby.

Disclaimer : I have Bony, transferred him in as my Aguero replacement last week.

Over the coming weeks I want a combo of Man U, Everton, Chelsea at the back as cheap as possible. Was thinking Howard, Rojo, Apzi but might consider Everton double up of Howard, Jags, Apzi for security of starts. Don't want to pay Smalling premium.

      I always do.

The last game it was on was Arsenal v Man Utd and I had Alexis FGS and he duly obliged netting me a cool £300.

Tonight I'm keeping my faith in him again at 8/1 FGS.

      1. Pasqualinho
        • 16 Years

Alexis FGS for the risk-free? And what about the pre-match bet?

          • Fantasy Football Scout Member

          Yeah Alexis for risk free.

Pre match I put £50 on over 0.5 goals.

Then on another betting site I put between £3-5 (depending on the odds) on "no-goal scorer" (usually 10/1 or better)

This means one of the two pre match bets is guaranteed to win and return me either slightly over £50 or slightly under. Basically risk free. Leaving me to use the I play bet on something with higher odds as there is no risk involved.

Note - The lay bet should be "no-goal scorer rather than 0-0 as the bet will still win should an own goal be scored"

I was considering Williams > Bellerin, as that still allows Aguero back in in one go,
So too would Richards (4.5) current 4.6 but Huth looks like dropping (4.3) again this week.
Huth > Moreno has crossed my mind too,
        You really like Toby/Spurs tho?

    Butland - (McCarthy)
    Darmian - Richards - Kolarov* - (Muniesa - Targett)
    Sanchez - KDB - Mahrez - Payet - Yaya
    Gomis - Vardy - Pelle
    1FT - 1.7ITB

    1) Hold Kolarov ?
    2) Sell Kolarov ?
    A) Muniesa > Bellerin
    B) Muniesa >Alderweireld
