Sometimes, even those Fantasy managers who factor in form above all else are forced to revise their approach by the machinations of the Premier League fixture computer.

One of those sometimes is now.

Everton’s run of opponents, right up until the end of the year, is nothing short of extraordinary.

Beginning with the weekend’s Goodison Park meeting with struggling Sunderland, Roberto Martinez’s men avoid all of last season’s top eight clubs between Gameweek 11-19.

Sunday’s encounter is the first of five home matches in a run that has Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Stoke drop in on Merseyside. Around the home comforts, the Toffees travel to face West Ham, Bournemouth, Norwich and Newcastle – a less than daunting menu of away trips.

Suddenly, Fantasy managers are scanning Martinez’ squad and attempting to decipher the key targets and the optimum time to draft them in.

In this latest article for members, we’ll attempt to tackle this subject head on. Firstly, by analysing Everton’s current form in detail, before assessing their major performers and weighing up the merits of investment ahead Saturdays Gameweek 11 deadline.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

leaning towards Costa to Kane/Lukaku/Bony and Mata to KDB

Same here, maybe holding off Mata > KDB as it would be for a hit. Still very tempting when looking at their next 2 fixtures

So the Ox will be back before Walcott, but neither will be back before the next international break?

Therefore Theo will be out until at least GW14 ?

But, if I swap out my sub Huth for Stones, I'll have:

Worth it or keep my FT and use 2 next week?

I've just been looking at the teams defensive stats (shots conceded etc) and we really should be thinking of Lukakaaaaa .

Sunderland are leaking shots, whilst Villa don't look too bad.

    Everton fixtures also better.

On the flip side though, Kanes personal stats over last few GWs outshine the Belgians....

They're away at Sevilla Tues. Pelle does like to sub off his star players before the Champs League games

The early season wildcard is biting us back right now, as this would have been the perfect time to use the WC. That aside, any chance of the black cats repeating last season's heroics at the Goodison?

also there is someone who as scored as many as Kane, Lukaku and Pelle having played 1/3rd the minutes.

He is now nailed on to start the next 3. Just saying.

I really cant fit him in with Vardy / Pelle / Lukaku...

Also, not planning on taking a hit for him this gw. Might look at him if Pelle blanks this weekend. Again.

This is a more general question and something that I've been thinking about for quite a while: What is it that make so many people so engaged in FPL? You might think it's the money in some MLs but if the players spent their time analysing the stock market instead of Sotons defence they could be rich by now.

thrill of the game. It has an element of strategy and gambling , just very emjoyable to play! (most of the time :P)
