    LMS Stats

    Bottom 166 teams

    Captains : Lukaku 68, Sturridge 3, Firmino/Benteke 1

    GKs : Hennessey 10 Mignolet 5
D : Moreno 117, rest are very minor
    M : Barkley 88, Coutinho 43, Firmino/Deul 25, Bolasie 22, Eriksen 16, Wij 10
    F : Lukaku 157, Sturridge 8, Benteke 4

Lots of Mahrez on bench so Coutinho autosubs could be huge.

      Gone Kane...

I had Aguero from start, also got him back on return from Injury... Only Newcastle game he gave decent returns... Just way to unreliable to have 13m tied up in him.

CL and EL this week yes but I'm well sauced and contemplating a 4th -12 of the season tonight for the lols...It includes an injured Coutinho in for for a hit, 2 defenders in for a hit and a goalkeeper in for a hit..

They were tough games tbf Leicester , Arsenal , West Ham (a) and Spurs . United were the only poorish attack they have played and they have the knack of doing just enough to win. Their home form is poor I agree but I am going to hang on for the time being . Myhill losing his place is my biggest fear at the min

    Butland
    Kolarov Alderwield Moreno
    KDB Barkley Ozil Mahrez Coutinho
    Ighalo lukaku

    Begovic Vardy Cresswell Evans

    1) Do I play it like that?
    2) I have 4.5itb ny original plan was Ighalo out for Kane. But ighalos form can't be ignored. So who do I bring in? Kane for Vardy? Or begovic for de gea and see how things are next week?

No way you should get rid of Ighalo ahead of the Sunderland match.. I'd say save the transfer. If you have 2FT, downgrade Begovic and stick with Butland.

What's this offside stuff regarding Bournemouth's goal?

I always understood offside as when you are behind the last opposing defender when the pass/shot is made.

Clearly Cahill is playing Murray onside by about a good yard maybe even a yard an a half.... how is it even up for debate?

It has to be 2, generally regarded as 1 defender as the goalie is usually there but Courtois was on the 6 yard line so it needed 2 defenders.
      Hence the debate.

What is said above. Many people don't know the rules. It's 2 defs not 1. You normally say last man as the keeper is always in goal. In this case Courtois was out of the picture so need 2 defs behind the forward to be onside

theres's 3 defenders AND courtois playing him on side.

actually, i've thought the other b'mouth play actually scored. my bad 😳

turns out, strictly speaking, he's off side, but for me it so marginal, that he deserves the benefit of the doubt

De Bruyne, Ozil, Coutinho, Mahrez, Ayew
    Kane, Lukaku, Vardy

    What to do with Ayew?

They are so one-sided on MOTD. I undesrtand that Bournemouth are newly promoted, and everyone likes them and wishes them the best.

But you just can't say that Francis' handball wasn't a penalty and you CAN'T say after Murray's offside that "they deserve to get these little things their way".

It's a penalty and it's an offside. Disgusting level of punditry. Already missing Neville.

It's not the most sophisticated punditry. The penalty shout deserved more discussion. I don't see how a linesman can see that offside though.

I know this and I get your point, but I mean that I would like to see someone of his level on MOTD. And it's a shame we won't enjoy his great analysis anyomre

Football punditry is sh1te. Just one of the the facts of life. Gary Neville is an exception.

You will hear more sense being spoken on here, in your local pub or around a Sunday lunch with family and friends.

Exactly - I just Sky Plus MOTD and watch the actual action, fast forwarding the punditry in between the matches. Why do I need to listen to people telling me what I have already seen with my own eyes and can process with my own brain?

Quite right. I'd add Pat Nevin. Seems odd he's never on TV. Lineker is an awesome presenter but that's a different gig.

Okay, I'll accept this fact Poch. Spot on, although in Poland we don't live and breathe football like people do in most English-speaking countires, unfortunately!

Ohh, didnt watch the game, so Hazard (C) should have got a penalty (or would Willian take it?)

Was it an intentional hand ball? he was lying on the ground and the ball struck his arm

It was unfortunate, but it's a penalty.

Btw. I don't even support Chelsea and love to see Mourinho struggling, just to be clear.

Not sure, but what I'm trying to say is that you just can't say that a team deserves to get a goal allowed that shouldn't be given.

Anyone think Mahrez could be sold in January? Leicester could get an offer "they can´t refuse" surely. He looks the real deal to me.

Could just ask him to stay until Summer and see how they finish in the league, then give him a fuss free transfer.

Any club willing to offer huge money for him in Jan probably will do so in the Summer as well.
