If recent results are anything to go by, Gameweek 15’s swansong should be an end-to-end affair, as the free-scoring Everton and Crystal Palace go head-to-head at Goodison Park. The Toffees have marmalised the recent trespassers on their turf, besting Sunderland and Aston Villa by an aggregate of 10-2. On the other hand, the Eagles put five past a hapless Newcastle United outfit last time out.

Everton have been the dominant attacking force in the previous four rounds of fixtures, placing top for goals scored (14), shot accuracy (49.1%) and shots on target (27). In terms of their home form throughout the campaign, the Merseysiders rank second – behind Manchester City (23) – for goals scored (16), despite charting in the bottom eight for attempts (91). Nonetheless, Everton’s defensive record at Goodison Park (11 goals conceded) bodes well for the Eagles’ offense.

Alan Pardew’s charges have excelled on their travels this term, overhauling the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea away from Selhurst Park. The London club will fancy their chances of stifling the Toffees’ buoyant attack, considering they’ve shipped the joint-fewest goals (five) in away matches.

I do question the captain and triple up as an effective ownership here. It's the same FPL manager getting the points so irrespective of captain or Tripple played the percentage affected ownership remains the same. .

In reality it's X% owned, X% doubled and X% tripled?

What I would be interested in is if a player scored points what impact would those points have to my rating.

Apologies, not debunking or slating your feature here, just wanting to understand how it translates to my ratings in the FPL of one of the above gets points.

        Taking Lukaku as an example:

This is 83 percent owned, 2 percent benched
        81 percent loyalty shown
27 percent captained, point 1 percent trebled
and 109 percent reason to remember the name

This means we can really split the crowd into three categories:
        A) benchers/non-owners (19%)
        B) players/non-captainers (54%)
        C) captainers (27%)

If you are an owner/non-captainer and he scores, you will gain on 19% and lose out to 27% captainers. This means there will be a net 8/9% (on rounding) who you lose out to.

If you are in the top 10k and own but do not captain Lukaku then, for every point he gets, about 19% of the top 10k will lose a point to you, about 27% of them will gain a point on you, and about 1% of them will gain 2 points on you.

This means that if Lukaku gets X points, then you should catch up with or overtake about 19% of the players who would otherwise have been X points or less above you, but be caught or overtaken by about 28% of the players who would have been X points below you, and also be caught or overtaken by about 1% of the players who would have been between X and 2X points below you.

The net effect is that you will lose out by an average of about 10% of X points (27% of X + 1% of 2X - 19% of X) to the average player in the top 10k. But the number of places you gain or lose is a bit more complicated, as explained in the previous paragraph.

      For Lukaku his breakdown is:

This is 83 percent owned, 2 percent benched

Ah, ok....this is perhaps the stats I'm more interested in. This allows me to see impact of scorers.

For reference I have Lukaku but didn't captain, so that's an impact 27% of the FPL getting twice the point I did. However 19% yield no points so I exceed these, thus the 8-9% delta.
