    Goof morning guys!

Really gutted Silva went up in price. Anyway, is Mane to Silva worth a hit?

He will score, but he won;t be as reliable as Silva in the medium/long rum

          Reliable? Silva?

I mean, I love him as a player and tend to buy him 3 or 4 times a season - but reliable he isn't, unless you're relying on him getting injured a lot.

Silva will be more consistent source of points than KDB imo

This. He's similar with Payet in terms of production when on song - steady source of assists and a-bit-more-than occasional goals.

Yes he's reliable for years - look at his History; you just should now when to hold and when to ditch.

This year is a bit different though - maybe because of KDB or Sterling effect, I don;t know.

Knowing when to ditch is easy with Silva. I don't doubt his quality, and I do think he's a better option than KDB when fit. But it's the 'reliable' bit I have trouble with because he's always a transfer out waiting to happen - and you need to be lucky that it doesn't happen on a week when you have other injuries.

If you consider injury proneness as a factor in a player's reliability - then yeah he's not that that reliable/dependable whatever you call it. But he's getting steady minutes before this season - this season injuries keep haunting him.

Now I know you won't say Studge is a reliable FPL player based on his injury proneness - but Silva is definitely more reliable than him in that context.

He's gone up already! He's not even done anything 🙂 (now I check KDB has too!)

Could be worth a hit, Southampton in general aren't looking great. City have some really nice fixtures.

Couldn't move for everyone doubling up last week. In a way doesn't studge out mean more game time for others, ie might actually make firmino a better pick?
