Can't come around to putting Mahrez captain.
I did it against Everton and it paid off. That and the fact that the only way to make him effective is to captain him is convincing me to stick the armband on him.
Did it vs Everton too but thought he was lucky to come away with 2 goals. No Vardy in training pictures either, which could affect his performance if he's out.

If there is any doubt if he's playing then do the transfer for sure. Yeah agree about Sunderland but would expect some improvement in general.

If Man City had good fixtures beyond (SUN) then I wouldn't hesitate getting Aguero in, but, IF he blanks against (SUN) his next 2 fixtures are (lei & wat) and Man City haven't scored near as many goals away from home than at home.

With Skrtel definitely out, I think I'll be sticking with Mahrez {C}. Even Vardy possibly out will mean Mahrez could potentially play in the #10 role and will have a bigger role I reckon.

Sakho was back last week - started and had the worst game of his life. Awful. Lovren is also injured so it'll be Kolo + Sakho at the back...

+ Playing a terrible Liverpool defence; conceded 3 to Watford, 2 to West Brom and 2 to Newcastle in their last three games.... teams that are not even knows for big goal threat this season.
+ Liverpool missing Skrtel (their best defender imo)
+ Mahrez may have plenty of space to exploit against an advances/ attacking Moreno
+ Leicester haven't failed to score this season (attacking style)
+ Mahrez in the form of his life, especially on away form
+ Set pieces
+ Big game so assured of minutes

I don't know why i still don't trust Mahrez as much as i should...He's proven me wrong all seasonhe had 0 shots and key passes last game, but scored two pens lol
I've just finally looked at his ppg and decided I want a piece of that.
Last year Hazard was player of the year in many peoples eyes but "only" scored 14 goals. MAhrez is already up to 13.

Something I didn't mention on the Scoutcast re: Ighalo and these fixtures.
JMO wrote an article a while back about Vardy and Mahrez and how if their stats continued they would keep getting points because they were having so many shots etc - it wasn't like their conversion rate was abnormally high.
Same is happening with Ighalo right now, he's having so many shots in the box/on target that he'll keep scoring until he finally comes up against a defence which minimizes these shots.Could Chelsea be that defence?
