‘Twas the night before Christmas when three bearded men, wallowing in mid-table mediocrity, collided via the magic of the internet to relay tales of Fantasy Football.

Settle down – the festive ScoutCast is upon us.

Like the “Three Ronnies”, Jonty, Andy and myself roll out the same old tried and trusted formula in the guise of an extended Christmas special.

We relive the painfully ordinary Gameweek 17, before girding our loins for another bout of community questions as the three us make woeful excuses for avoiding Ighalo, before debating whether the “Dullards” really have slain the “Maverick” Fantasy managers for good.

    Mahrez (c) feels like a differential with the amount going to give the armband to Kane, Aguero and Lukaku.

    I own Aguero but no way can I captain him Saturday. If he was guaranteed to start I would but we just don't have that security. Owning him is enough through the fixture pileup at 12.7%

        This is so right. In fact Kane will probably be only captained by about 10% overall. Most at the top have Lukaku, Vardy and Ighalo. So will do Mahrez or one of those.

    One for WR...

    No doubt in my mind that the correct tactic in UFPL is to utilise loans to maximise sub ins, regardless of how good the squad might look overall...and to have those maxed out sub ins available across the whole bench every week.

    So....Is there any need to use a precious transfer for transferring out Wilson. Would it not be feesible to have that place as the "loan place" and just keep him ?

      Agreed, except there are not 12 players in my squad who I want rid of so I will probably sell him, you will soon get other injuries, bans and players falling out of favour to use for loans

      What should I do with the armband?

      I really want to give it to Mahrez. My main competition in my league will more than likely give it to Lukaku. I have him too, but I want to diffrentiate from him. Mahrez has blown us away and stunned us so much, I just feel I would'nt be surprised if he got big points 3 times in a row, especially when he is against a Liverpool defence missing Skrtel. Or, should I go with the more safer Lukaku?

        12.8% ownership, likely to get at least 60 minutes and against a team that conceded 3 to Chelsea!

        They are 10/1 to keep a cleansheet.

      Kun is obvious answer, but Sunderland CM is a mess. Cattermole and Larsson out, thinking YaYa might run riot. But, I've pretty much been wrong all year.
