‘Twas the night before Christmas when three bearded men, wallowing in mid-table mediocrity, collided via the magic of the internet to relay tales of Fantasy Football.

Settle down – the festive ScoutCast is upon us.

Like the “Three Ronnies”, Jonty, Andy and myself roll out the same old tried and trusted formula in the guise of an extended Christmas special.

We relive the painfully ordinary Gameweek 17, before girding our loins for another bout of community questions as the three us make woeful excuses for avoiding Ighalo, before debating whether the “Dullards” really have slain the “Maverick” Fantasy managers for good.

    Too greedy?

    Kane -> Kun (c)

    From my experience, it usually doesn't end up well when selling good player (Kane) with good fixture (NOR) for better player (Kun) with easier game (SUN).

    Stick with Kane and Mahrez (c) ?
    I have KDB and no other Spurs attacks if it does matter.

        I see what you mean and agree that Norwich haven't conceded many.

        Anyway, I mean it should be considered as a good fixture when compared to the opponents of other strikers to face on this weekend. Sunderland leaked more though.

        No proper reason - just noticed alot of folks bringing Kosc or Monrral in over Bellerin or Merte. Figured FFS usually in the know.

        Whether rest, rotation, being dropped, losing bps potential, bad stats etc

    What are your opinions on doubling up on a particular defense short-mid-term as a way to break the template? I'm looking at Arsenal, VVD > Koscielny to be more precise (already have Bellerin and Ozil). I was saving that 3rd spot for Sanchez, but with the recent news and the fact that I don't really rate Ramsey enough for him to take one of the precious 4 mid spots, this looks more and more tempting.

        That's one way to think about it. But putting the right eggs in the basket could really make a difference in this unpredictable defensive situation we're facing. Apart from Arsenal, you can't really confidently say any other team is going to keep a clean sheet in most of their next games. But Arsenal have sou BOU NEW liv sto CHE SOU bou in the next 8, and are showing some great form. I might be totally wrong about this, but it might be a successful way to break the template.

        Giroud looks a great pick over that run. But with 2 frees I'm tempted with

        GW19: Either:
        a) KDB & Kane -> Sanchez & Giroud, or
        b) KDB & Barkley/Bolasie -> Ramsey & Wally
