Today is all about friends and family. It’s about sharing those treasured moments whilst black and white films and laboured Christmas specials play out in the background.

We shouldn’t be discussing Jamie Vardy’s hamstring with relative strangers over the internet.

Even so, we couldn’t let the day pass without popping by and wishing you and your families a very merry Christmas.

As always, myself and the team must extend a huge thank you for your outstanding support for the site and for your contributions in helping us maintain what we believe is one of the best football communities on the net.

Now you should really log off and go back to the family before the Call the Midwife special starts. Having said that, be sure to check in with us throughout the day as we roll out the Team News, Scout Picks, Captain Sensible and another batch of regulars prior to tomorrow’s deadline.

      Look at the top points in the striker slots, see whose there.
      Generally those near top have form.
      I'd wanna see the whites of Agueros eyes first-outside if his 5 V Newc, he hasn't done a whole lot compared to consistent players like Vardy, Lukaku, Ighalo.

      Not really but I expect rotation for quite a few at city.
      Kol/Sagna/Silva/Sterling/Aguero will get shorter time, Kompany too if involved won't play 3.
      Yaya/Kdb/Otamendi more assured of longer minutes I reckon.

          I agree and play 3-4-3 myself but I'm only advocating it over the festive period.
          As I say an insurance policy, Vardy may not start and you'd have a strong bench to fill in.
