The Premier League have announced a number of rearranged fixtures this afternoon, affording Fantasy managers plenty of time to now plan and prepare around the upcoming double Gameweeks 34 and 37.

Gameweek 34

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, April 19 – Newcastle vs Man City

Wednesday, April 20 – Liverpool vs Everton, Man United vs Crystal Palace, West Ham vs Watford,

Thursday, April 21 – Arsenal vs West Brom.

Gameweek 37

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, May 10 – West Ham vs Man United

Wednesday, May 11 – Liverpool vs Chelsea, Norwich vs Watford, Sunderland vs Everton.

Schedule Re-cap

Long story short, then, five teams – Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in Gameweek 34 and 37.

United, West Ham, Everton, Palace, Norwich and Watford have no fixture in Gameweek 35, however, due to the FA Cup schedule.

Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double apiece, in Gameweek 34.

Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

This leaves Everton’s clash with Palace, which was originally pencilled in for Gameweek 35, as the only fixture yet to be rearranged. This is due to the fact that the pair go head-to-head in the FA Cup semi-finals that weekend.

We’ll go into much more detail in future articles but here’s a quick check on what today’s announcement means..

Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea that weekend but the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment, with a favourable (WBA, che &new, STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35.

Newcastle, meanwhile, also host Swansea at St James in Gameweek 34, with a home clash against Palace and trip to Villa in their subsequent three.

United are handed a very promising pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures, with back-to-back home encounters against Villa and Palace. The downside, though, is that they face a blank the following week. Their Gameweek 37 double consists of trips to Norwich and West Ham.

Liverpool look ripe for investment as we prepare for our wildcards, with their schedule from Gameweek 33 onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.

In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace, Everton also host Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five Gameweeks.

Arsenal, meanwhile, play twice at the Emirates in Gameweek 34, as Palace and West Brom pay visit. The Baggies precede their trip to north London with a home match against Watford.

Palace’s double in Gameweek 34 (ars, mun) will struggle to persuade many suitors, though that game in hand against Everton could come in handy further down the line.

West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home encounter with Watford in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then blank the following week but a pair of home matches in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN) is bound to see significant investment, bearing in mind that these are the Hammers’ final two matches at Upton Park before moving ground in the summer.

Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34 (wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv, nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35. Chelsea also play twice in their double Gameweek 37, making their way to Sunderland and Liverpool.

Elsewhere in Gameweek 37, relegation candidates Norwich (MUN, WAT) and Sunderland (CHE, EVE) are both handed home matches that look vital to their survival hopes.

*We’ll be updating our fixture ticker later today in light of the news and roll out Scouting the Doubles articles nearer the time.

Stuck on last page. It took me at least 5 mins to work out so I'm reposting!

    See if this is correct?

    A = CITY/ARS/WBA/NEW
    B = WAT/WHM/MUN/CPL

So you can wildcard in GW33 with the following:

    3 Liv, 3 Eve, 6A, 3B

    which means:

    15 DGW 34

    9 starters in 35 (3Liv + 6A)

    9 DGW 37 (3Liv + 3Eve + 3B)

So.... Between 34 and 35 you can bring in 2 from Sun/Che to see you all the way through

I'm struggling to make a transfer. Have 2 frees and currently benching Alli.

I think I may have to plan and just get in a player I know I want whose price will rise and still bench them.

May just do Eriksen to Firmino and be done with it.

I'm in the same position, there's no one I want this week and feel like it's a waste of a transfer saving it if I'm using my wildcard in GW33.

If Traore plays and looks good this weekend I might do Siggy to him next week

I can't do anything until I sell Alexis. The whole point of me keeping him was to give him a run out at Everton this week! So I'll be rolling the transfer barring injuries.

    Hello all

I have a dilemma, not sure am I fielding the strongest team for GW31. If anyone can help that would be appreciated loads

    Current setup is

    Adrian
    Huth - Williams - Kompany
    Arni - Firmino - Mahrez - Siggy
    Aguero - Kane - Vardy

    Bench
    Forster - Ozil - Alderweireld - Bellerin

How is this for a DGW34 team. No wildcard, just using FT to get 11, no hits

    DDG
    Kompany, Gabriel, Dann
    Silva, Ozil, FIrmino, Payet
    Kun, Lukaku, Martial

    Elliot, Mahrez, WIlliams, Simpson
    2FT 1.0M ITB

Only need to lose Martial or Lukaku the following week to go 4-4-2 for 35. WIldcard in 36

DDG and Robles looks like the best GW34 keeper pair

but it forces you to use a FT in 35 to take 1 out and there's no point getting Courtois as you have 2 keepers with a DGW in 37

I think one of Robles/DDG with Foster or Elliot looks the way to go unless one gets Forster for just 1 GW

that's not a problem, it just means that both are fantastic options for even more gameweeks.

i am getting Firmino and Milner so I have 1 Pool spot available in defence

Is nobody concerned that Robles won't be rested for fa cup game and hence not play two games?

He spends 98% of the game standing still, plus he had his first 2 and a half years at the club to rest.

A TV of 112 is impossible for me to get KDB unless I get all cheap defenders

    Hart Cech
    .....
    Firmino Ozil KDB Payet Mahrez
    Lukaku Kun Kane

    Gosh.

Just tried creating a GWK 33 wildcard team with GWK 34, 35, 37 in mind.
    Here's a pic -
    https://twitter.com/Newsandfeatures/status/709778629660692480

    Actually really tricky

    Kane Aguero Lukaku
Payet Ozil Firmino KDB is not possible

    Even

    Kane Aguero Lukaku
Payet OZil Firmino Yaya is looking tricky, while having a good backline.

Concessions are going to have to be made and Kane to Giroud/Rondon is one.

By 37 do you mean in terms of maximising the double GW players for then?

Keeping it in mind to maximise those doubles but aware that there are a few transfers before then. More GWK 34 and 35 to navigate.

        KDB Ozil Payet Firmino
Lukaku Kane Aguero is simply not doable. Two have to be downgraded.

Yep - its all full of fails - that's the point...lots of sacrifices have to be made to get the key players of Aguero, Lukaku, Ozil, Firmino, Payet, ManC mid - good other striker.

I am forgoeing City mids, only thing I my head right now is who to pair with DDG

      DDG/Elliot

Kos, Kompany, Dawson, Fuenes Mori, Sakho

      Firmino, Milner, Lingard, Payet, Ozil

      Martial, Lukaku, Aguero

1 FT in 35 to swap Martial for say, Defoe

currently I have 0,3 leeway with this team

If I needed the funds Kos could become Moreno or Fuenes Mori becomes the very dullar Jagielka

Is there a concern that what you gain from going balls deep in a DGW, you lose from having a bad line up for GW33, 35 and 36?

      Help please o wise ones.

Current team is as follows. Got no WC left ( :(), but have BB and AOA. Need to get this in shape for the DG 34 and 37, so advice much appreciated! Currently trailing league leader by 24 points (he has no WC left, but has BB and AOA as well) but third placed guy (only 10 points behind me) has AOA, BB and WC - I'm more worried about him!

      Schmeicel, Butland
      Williams,Van Dijk, Alderweireld, Cook, Clyne
      Mahrez, Firmino, Siggy, Alli, Lingard
      Aguero, Kane, Vardy

Aguero, Firmino, Clyne and Lingard all DGW 34 (but latter two may get rested, esp Lin?)
Thanks for all help in advance! Gracias!
