So I may as well put my latest draft out there...

    Mignolet - Gomes
    Sakho - Bellerin - Fuchs - Gabriel - Delaney
Coutinho - Payet - Sanchez - Lanzini - De Bruyne
    Aguero - Kane - Mitrovic

    What do we think??

I like very much. Apart from Delaney. And I believe de Bruyne to be poor value.

    How does this WC look?

    DDG Robles
    Gabriel Bellerin Sakho Simpson Delaney
    Mahrez Payet Coutinho Sanchez Lingard
    Kane Aguero Lukaku

I have 10 players for GW35, will use a FT to bring a playing keeper GW35.

Got the same defence, should do us well. Are you planning to keep Delaney for 34?

Also if you're BB'ing in 34 may be better to have someone a bit better than Lingard, can't see him doing too much.

    Pick 1:

    X: VVD + Ozil --> Clyne + Sanchez

    Y: VVD + Willian ---> Cylne + Coutinho

    Z: Lloris + Ozil / Willian --> Mignolet + Sanchez / Coutinho

I feel like *such* an idiot. I was so excited by the WC I panicked & transferred out £2m+ value through the likes of Kane Mahrez Vardy Alli etc and ended up with the below...

    Robles Darlow
    Bellerin Smalling Sakho Ward Simpson
    Sanchez Coutinho Payet Lennon Lanzini
    Kun Lukaku Martial
    £0.1m ITB

    2 things:
    1) Would someone please reassure me everything's going to be ok?
    2) What would you change? (please don't ask me to transfer back in one of the big names named above)

    Bellerin* - Coleman** - Dann* - Sakho* - Simpson
    Ozil* - Barkley** - Milner* - Mahrez - Bolaise**
    Aguero* - Lukaku** - Martial*

    GW33 - 5 x DGWs
    GW34 - Dann > Monreal* with FT - 13 DGWs & BB
GW35 - Two from Martial, Barkley & Bolaise > GW35 players with FT and hit

    What's not to like?

    1. Link

      Things I don't like:
      - Expensive keeper combo
      - No Sanchez
      - James Milner

      Things I like:
      - Defence. Dann/Coleman could be sweet
      - Front 3

        Cheers Link

Yeah the midfield sucks. But so does my team SV (103m) so Sanchez & KdB are no go zones for me.

Looking for balance rather than attack heavy so happy to spend a little extra on GKs and def than many on here.

Also Milner on penos is a small plus.

Ozil vs Sanchez is one or the other for me, so I go cheap.

      • 11 Years
      10 years, 4 days ago

I'm a Monreal owner and I really don't think he'll play all the games around GW34/35. Gibbs always seems to nick a game in tight congestion 🙁 🙁

Dann > Delaney imo. Similar goal threat and Delaney is way better for BAPS. Can you now somehow upgrade Milner to Cout/Firm?

      1. Jafooli
        • 14 Years
        10 years, 4 days ago

Cheers Jazz and agreed Gibbs is a worry. Might go Kos or Gabriel if looks nailed on, but really want 2 x Arse defs for the double and easy run.

Its a good point on a cheaper Delaney, but currently at OR 9K so want to protect from Dann (massive ownership) in case he goes bananarama with a brave and max baps in the double

        1. Jazz!
          • 11 Years
          10 years, 4 days ago

I really think Delaney will outscore him. Dann is no good for BAPS and they share similar goal threat (Delaney's stats are right up there!). Definitely go Kosc over Monreal though.

This team good enough for 33 with no WC and no hits?

    Hennessey*
    Bellerin - Simpson - VVD
    Ozil - Sanchez - Mahrez - Lennon*
    Aguero - Lukaku (c) - Vardy

    Fabianski - Alli - Cresswell - Williams

Will then use 1 FT on a boring Williams -> Darmian for 34, giving me 9 + Mahrez Vardy

Then 1 FT the following week, Lukaku -> Kane giving me 11 for 35

    WC 36

Sound like an OK (But dull) plan?

Slightly different WC team here...No Mahrez or Kane... What we think?

    DDG - Darlow
    Mangala - Sakho - Gabriel - Delaney - Simpson
    Sanchez - Ozil - Coutinho - Payet - Lanzini
    Aguero - Lukaku - Martial

      Things I don't like:
      - Mangala & Gabriel (possibly but could be perfect)
      - Darlow (even his name makes me cringe for some unfathomable reason)
      - Not much in the way of DGW's for 33 (two correct - Delaney & Lukaku)

Alright, heres my WC into BB at the moment. any thoughts?

    Robles, Mignolet
    Sakho, Bellerin, Dawson, Morgan, Rose
    Coutinho, Payet, KDB, Ozil, Lennon
    Aguero, Lukaku, Rashford

current thoughts, I could swap Ozil + Bellerin to Sanchez and Gabriel.....I quite like this option
rashford minutes? might not be worth it, but the price and potential is tempting me.
Lennon might not seem sensible, but hes cheap and plays for everton 🙂

Well seeing as I said I'm using bench boost in gw 34 I must mean gw 33. The week when Everton play palace and Watford away

          Must you now?

In that case, save it for GW37

            Payet?

I'm considering Lukaku for TC but currently planning on Sanchez in gw34 I think (not wildcarding or BB)

With gw 34 not an option, do you feel lukaku next week is a better option than anyone in gw 37? Payet is the only one I'm considering.

Yeah probably. I would also say that Martial is a good option for GW34, but that's no good to you!

    Which one?
    A. KDB + Lennon/Sako
    B. Coutinho + Barkley

    Payet, Firmino, Sanchez
    Kun, Lukaku, Mitrovic

Out of those, I'd go for the Payet, Firmino, Sanchez combo.

    A) Bellerin, Ozil, Rashford, Payet

    B) Gabriel. Sanchez, Martial, Lanzini

I can do Bellerin, Sanchez, Martial and Payet (Ideal surely?)
if I change KDB to a palace mid, or something like that.

Maybe downgrading KDB is the way to go for team balance. I'd much rather have Payet and Bellerin over him.

yeah I think so, I think KDB impacts the team, but maybe aguero is enough to reap that reward. who do you like for 6.1?

Now I have squeeeeeezed in all the players I like. Offcourse I had to cut somewhere else, but I am happy with it for now. This is what it looks like for now.

    Robles - Darlow
    Gabriel - Sakho - Bellerin - Moreno - Delaney
    KdB - Sanchez - Lingard - Payet - Coutinho
    Martial - Aguero - Lukaku

    0.2 ITB

Feels good. Double Liverpool defence can be shaky, but I think they are better than it seems. They are not conceding that many shots in the box. Think there is an upside to it.

S - Not so sure after performance on the weekend, will maybe miss a game
      E - pretty safe
      D - pretty safe
      R - Utterly unpredictable

My original plan was BB but now decided to wait and use WC/BB combo for the late DGW..
Sanchez looks like he is on the verge of a purple patch

I'd say there's a case for going Sanchez TC and waiting playing BB in GW37. More risk with the BB though, but if West Ham form drops off, not so many juicy TC options in GW37

Will decide strategy on Friday night, also awaiting any news on Sanchez possible injury (which are probably not true). Thning is, looking at various BB teams, the last 2 defenders and 5th mid seem to be pretty crap anyway 🙂

Its a gamble... my rival 80pts ahead and played WC last week so BB coming in 34 i'd imagine... fine margins

    Mignolet / Robles
    Delaney / Bellerín / Huth / Moreno / Smalling
Lennon / Sánchez / Payet / De Bruyne / Coutinho
    Lukaku / Rashford / Agüero

    4 DGWer's for GW33
    14 for GW34 + bench boost
    2 FT & -4 for 11 playing GW35
    7 DGWers for 37 currently

My current WC team, what do you think?

    De Gea / Robles
    Bellerin / Koscielny / Simpson / Ward / Sakho
    Payet / Sanchez / Mahrez / Lanzini / Bolasie
    Lukaku / Aguero / Martial

Next week will do Bolasie > Lallana. The week after Lukaku > Kane and Martial > Defoe.
