    this is really difficult....

ok so this is where I'm at. It gives me 9 players for GW35 with two free transfers to get 11 playing that week (bar injury of course). Thoughts?

I'd have a CPL defender in 33 in place of Gabriel who I wouldn't touch at all given his risk of rot.

Both Gks have no game in 35 so presumably they are one of your trades prior to 35.

I'd be playing the BB in 34. You will have a greater number of dgw players than 37 and there are still some outstanding TCs in 37.

      1. Francescoli
        • 11 Years
        10 years, 4 days ago

I don't have BB. I had Delaney but that would mean only 8 players playing in GW35 (which would result in a hit to get 11 playing).

Think it's a worry that TC options come GWW37 might not be that outstanding at all, say if West Ham should have nothing to play for by then.

You can skip noting which players with a DGW. We're all pretty much In The Zone now, so we see all this in seconds.
Play Mitro over Bolasie in 34 at least.
Are you doing a Alli âž¡ Mahrez and benching him?

Sure. I am worried that all my players blank. But I think Payet is a keeper for the rest of the season anyway.

For me it's either A or B, and I'm leaning towards A mainly because of the amount of wildcards this week that will block it as an option, giving it a bit of an extra edge as a differential.

B is a great option, however it feels like a risk saving it for 37 where injuries/bans/players thinking about the Euros may affect things

First rule of FF: Pick Players that Play.

You are not the only one ignoring the golden rule right now but Gabriel is a waste. Likewise, Lennon and Moreno is likely to be rotted.

You have no gk for 35.

Damian looks a better bet than Rojo right now.

      1. Don't agree about Gabriel. There are several factors in his favour. 🙂

          Such as?

          1. If you check the injuries CAREFULLY, you will find that he is more nailed than superficially appears.

I will transfer Robles for Migs for GW35.

I think Moreno is nailed on. Who will Moreno be rotated with?

Gabriel is a decent bet, but Darm is not bad as well, think he will start both games against Villa and Palace.

Looking at Liverpool assets for my Wildcard and I'm really struggling on picking an attacker.

With Firmino back, Coutinho could be shifted out wide making him less effective. Firmino himself may have his minutes restricted. Sturridge is so pricey and with Benteke coming back may not get that many minutes either. Throw in Milner, Henderson, Origi and Lallana - and its a complete minefield

All this plus the Dortmund game and Klopp's high pressing style - I'll be surprised if any get 2 full games over the double.

All that said, you know one of the above will explode, but I have no idea which one!

      Probably going Coutinho..

I don't expect him to play in the double, but with a great 33 and 35 as well he is hard to ignore. If you accept he won't play 180mins in the double then will be less of a shock when benched.

It only takes one trade to get Kane back. Those that play conservative will lose out imo.

It always tends to be thus.

For me, it's about weighing up the fact that I already have all the 'big hitters' that I want for DGW34 without using my WC. I will be wildcarding to get benchboost defenders and midfielders that are huge punts and will likely also leave me short of quality options (Vardy, Mahrez, Kane, Alli) for 35.

Whereas if I use it for BB37, I will be bringing in players from teams where I have zero or little cover at the moment that will still likely be playing for stuff.. Sunderland, Norwich, Utd, West Ham..

Yes, I could be hit by rotation but just as likely to be hit by it getting in some of the players that have big fixture build up now.

I currently have Martial, but I can't really fit in Martial, KDB, Sanchez and a Utd defender. Rashford opens so many doors.

When is Rooney back? If it's soon then I'm scrapping this thought.

He looked very sharp yesterday. Some lovely touches and is very confident. Probably worth the gamble as his price is so low that he allows you to get just about anyone else you want in your side.

If offered 4 points for Bolasie from either are or utd then you'd take it.

Looking at it like that...it's 3 games vs 3 really and I'd prefer Alli for the run in

Hi, Looking to get the max out of my team now before WC in 34.
Currently with these guys a potential transfer, 1FT left, 0 in the bank and Lukaku up fron the only other DGW player in 33.
    Hennessey, Forster
    Williams, Simpson
    Mahrez, Alli
    Kane

    So, what to do?
    1. Williams > Delaney, bench Bellerin or Simpson, play CPL def and GK
    2. Forster > Robles, play Bellerin, Simpson, and Robles (over Hennessey)
    3. Forget DGW 33, outside Lukaku there's no good potential here. In that case, what to get (want to use the FT as it will clear next week when WC?

Which ARS-LEI-CPL combo is preferable? (I have Sanchez and Gabriel)

B seems more obvious, but with the recent Leicester 1-0s ...I'm not so sure.

    A. Ozil, Delaney, Morgan
    B. Mahrez, Bellerin, Dann

Hey guys, I know we are a bit bored of RMWT's by now, but you guys are super helpful!
I feel like I have really made some progress, and I know its only Monday, but I think my team is taking shape already.
would you guys let me know what you think? safe? boring? punty? missing something essential?

    Robles, DeGea
    Sakho, Simpson, Dawson, Bellerin, Rose
    Sanchez, Coutinho, Payet, Lennon, Lanzini
    Aguero, Lukaku, Martial

    0.5 in the bank

Have 5 dgws for 33; 12 dgws for 34 and 9 for 35. With two trades should be okay for 35.
