Should I downgrade Sturridge to give myself a healthier defence?

And if so? Who's a good option - reckon Welbeck will get starts across both games, or will Martial be a better option?

I know, not ideal but finding defenders is hard. Plus I think Jonty looked like he was doing the same in his wildcard which means it must be less risky than it looks.

It's a risk, but every decision we make as fantasy managers is a risk to a certain extent. Sunderland fighting for their lives at home against second string/unmotivated Che and Eve sides could be a goldmine. Call me sentimental but I'm hoping it could be a Sessegnon v2.0 situation 🙂

Out of interest would people still go for Lennon over Barkley if the two were priced the same?

Seeing mainly Lennon in RMWCT's - is this purely a funds thing?

Barkley's last good scores are from last year apart from those two penalties. Lennon's recent form has been better, but he isn't very good either so both are punts.

I think Payet belongs on the bench GW35. That's where I'll have him.

If you're doing Payet to Eriksen and then Eriksen to Payet the next week,
well that just doesn't feel right. Burns 2 transfers to wind up where you started.

Who would be on your bench week 35. Any other midfielder? Can you swap him
      for Eriksen perhaps?

I realize the funds may not be there, but there must be a better way.

      1. Zizoulicious
        • 10 Years
        10 years, 18 hours ago

Thanks for the reply. No other blanking midfielders, so Lukaku, Souare and Jags on the bench.

I really want Eriksen that week and getting rid of a non blanket doesn't make sense.

I guess the other option is Lukaku -> Pelle, but again that's exactly the same issue, he has another double so will need to bring him back!

        What do you think? 🙂

Who's the best TC option in the upcoming weeks? Lukaku or Aguero

      Sanchez 34
      Payet 37
      Sturridge 37

      Defoe 37 😉

Out of these Sanchez for me, if you're not bench boosting not that is

Yeah, only reason I'm not going that way is my 13/14 DGW player bench boost. Will be putting normal captain on him for sure though, expecting massive things from Alexis that week

Lukaku 33 or Sanchez 34 TC are best options, based on fixtures and form.

          BUT

Most people will be captaining Lukaku in 33, so TC on him that week reduces the impact.

I think Sanchez, who has the better 2 fixtures (and at home) is the better pick for TC, as most will be using BB in 34, so the TC has more of an affect. That, and there are many other captain choices outside of Sanchez to choose from, so a TC on him has the potential to be worth more.

If only Sanchez was on pens, it would be a shoe in.

How does this WC team look? It's a slightly more conservative than I've been previously thinking of.

    Robles Darlow

    Bellerin Rojo Sakho Souare Simpson

    Ozil Sanchez Payet Milner Alli

    Aguero Lukaku Kane

I've already sold Mahrez so that's out of the question now.

This side leaves me with 0.0 anyway so couldn't afford it

This is my current plan. CAPITALS indicate the positions that keep changing.
    Robles/DARLOW
    Dann, Gabriel, SIMPSON, Bellerin, JAGIELKA
    kdb, Payet, BOLASIE, Sanchez, Coutinho
    Mitrovic, Lukaku, Aguero
    1.2itb

GW34 Bolasie > Milner (not enough itb for Firmino)
    GW35 Dann > PVA (to field 11)
    GW36&37 2FT's to field 9 DGW in GW37

Thoughts would really be appreciated please lads.

Darlow is a good pick for 3.9. Are you happy with him in goal though? I'm going Migs/Darlow myself with Darlow for dgw pts but not a playing gk in normal gws.

Simpson seems most people's pick of lei. Keep.

Bolasie and Jags I'd probably be most likely to bin. Maybe an Everton mid (I have Lennon) over Yannick and Jags out for another def (City? Scousers?) might be better IMO.

      Hope that helps

Robles Darlow would give you one more double, and for cheaper too

Without Migs I have 0 Liverpool cover during those games - think I'll just stick him in goal for the rest of the season!

    Which do you guys prefer?

    B) Mitrovic/KDB/Smalling/Monreal

who would you sacrifice to allow the other, Allowing 1 allows the players I want between GW35 to GW38 and strenthens the rest

    A Payet > Lanzini/Antonio

    B Bellerin > Gabriel/Monreal

One cannot live whilst the other survives

I was gonna keep Fuchs, until I realised the magic that could be done.

    Robles, Mignolet
    Bellerin, Gabriel, Sakho, Coleman, Ward
De Bruyne, Sanchez, Countihno, Payet, Lingard
    Mitrovic, Lukaku, Aguero.

Why Aguero his 2 DGW fixtures arent great I'd sooner have Arsenal or Man Utd Forwards Lingard is a nice enabler but not likely to do much

I'm keeping Kane for gw33 and having Bolasie instead of kdb, then switching to mitrovic & kdb gw34.
