Roberto Firmino is back in contention for Liverpool’s home clash with Stoke, though the Reds have major concerns over Jordan Henderson. West Ham duo Sam Byram and James Collins are not yet ready to return, Aaron Ramsey could be back in the Arsenal squad, whilst Yohan Cabaye and Connor Wickham are passed fit for Palace’s double Gameweek.

Roberto Firmino returned to action with a sub appearance in Liverpool’s draw with Dortmund last night. Jordan Henderson could be set for a stint on the sidelines, though – the Reds’ skipper was forced off with a knee injury at the break, with Jurgen Klopp conceding that the initial prognosis “doesn’t look good”.

Sam Byram and James Collins will return to training for West Ham today but will remain sidelined for the weekend clash with Arsenal. Cheick Kouyate is available for selection after the FA rescinded a three-match ban triggered by his dismissal against Palace last Saturday.

Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini are expected to be available for Arsenal’s trip to Upton Park after stepping up their recoveries in training. Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky will step up their recoveries with a run-out for the reserves this evening.

Yohan Cabaye and Connor Wickham have been passed fit for Palace’s clash with Norwich this weekend. Emmanuel Adebayor faces a late fitness test, whilst James McArthur and Brede Hangeland remain on the sidelines.

Adam Smith is a doubt for Bournemouth’s trip to Villa after he was forced off with a hernia problem against City last weekend. Harry Arter, Benik Afobe and Stanislas are still unavailable, whilst Callum Wilson is “not far away” from returning after months on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.

Andre Ayew is available for Swansea’s clash with Chelsea after recovering from a calf complaint. Leon Britton and Jordi Amat are both doubts due to back problems.

Shane Long is back in contention for Southampton’s home match with Newcastle, though Steven Davis will miss out with an ankle problem picked up against Leicester last weekend.

Gareth Barry is available for Everton’s double Gameweek after serving out a two-match ban in last week’s loss to United. Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar are expected to recover from knocks in time for tomorrow’s trip to Watford.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

for those doing WC this week then BB next how does your bench actually look if you played your first choice team?
    at the moment I have
    darlow, Delaney, evans, iwobi

It doesn't look as exciting when I see it like this

Darlow, Dann, Lennon and Iwobi for me

The fact that they have a dgw each is a huge booster

I WC'd last week but currently mine's Darlow, Ward, Mahrez, Kane. Having sgw Mahrez and Kane as two of my worst players for dgw is reason enough to Bench Boost for me.

Loathe to get rid of Ozil but the lack of good DGW defenders is making me do it.. Dont like any of them apart from the Arsenal defenders and Smalling. While i do like a LOT of DGW attackers.. Sigh.. he has to go

    Hi Lads, need your help.

    This is my team -

    -------------------------
    DDG (Hart)

Bellerin - Toby - Simpson (Woll, Daniels)

Mahrez - Ozil - Siggy - Payet (Alli)

    Vardy, Aguero, Kane

    2 FT and 0.6M ITB
    ------------------------------

Do the WC now or do the two FTs to bring in 2 DGWers (Lukaku +1) and do the WC next week? Would really appreciate you thoughts!

    Thanks!

What do your WC defenses look like? Not many great options apart from the usual Arsenal/Manutd/Pool.. And why has Sakho been replaced by Lovren all of a sudden in people's teams and the watchlist?

My current WC defense for what it's worth is
      Robles Darlow
      Smalling Gabriel Sakho Simpson Bellerin

Kinda regretting playing the WC.. dont want any Palace/Everton players and my bench looks awful for GW 34 even with DGWers 😆

      DGW conundrum!

Which combination of DGW players do you favour for the next two weeks?

A)GW33: Robles, Jagielka, Lukaku + SGW Coutinho
GW34: Robles, Jagielka, Lukaku, Antonio, Coutinho

B)GW33: Robles, Dann, Lukaku + SGW Coutinho
GW34: Robles, Jagielka, Lukaku, Antonio, Coutinho

C)GW33: Robles, Dann, Barkley, Lukaku (no Coutinho)
GW34: Robles, Jagielka, Lukaku, Coutinho, Antonio
GW 35: Can only field two defenders.

My feeling is Barkley is out of form, I'm only considering option C because my mini-league leader has him.

    • amplifiedAnt

After meticulously planning a GW32 wildcard plan, I 'hilariously' overslept last week and blew it. I've narrowed my options for a GW33 wildcard but wouldn't mind some advice.

      A. Mignolet, Lennon, Martial +£2.3m
      B. Darlow, De Bruyne, Mitrovic

      Rest of the team:

      Robles, ______
      Smalling, Bellerin, Sakho, Gabriel, Simpson
      Sanchez, Payet, Coutinho, Lanzini, ______
      Aguero, Lukaku, ______

Option A involves only putting out 10 for GW35 (without taking hits) but will allow 10 or 11 doubles for GW37. The extra money in A makes transfers for GW35 much easier.

What's the point of having Wickham? Sure, he'll get the 4 points for two starts, but you do realise that any forward who can actually _score_ surpasses his points nicely by having a one single goal, and then you don't have to worry about losing 4 points to transfer Wickham away. And in the case that the alternative striker blanked too, that waste of transfer eats the points you'd get for his minutes already, so you can't really lose.

        • 12 Years
        9 years, 11 months ago

Two WC options - one with De Bruyne, one without. I'll be playing BB next week.

      A) Robles, Darlow
      Bellerin, Sakho, Gabriel, Ward, Evans
      Sanchez, KDB, Coutinho, Payet, Lingard
      Aguero, Lukaku, Mitrovic

      OR

      B) Robles, Darlow
      Bellerin, Sakho, Gabriel, Ward, Evans
      Sanchez, Lennon, Coutinho, Payet, Mahrez
      Aguero, Lukaku, Martial

      So essentially

      A) KDB, Lingard, Mitrovic
      B) Lennon, Mahrez, Martial

Thoughts? People may comment on the Jonny Evans pick, but I just have a hunch he'll pop up with a goal in WK 34! Thanks 🙂

due to my terrible tv and lack of bench boost, i think this WC team picks itself

      Robles / Darlow

Gabriel / Lovren / Delany (Simpson, Morgan)

Sanchez / KDB / Cou / Payet (Mahrez)

      Kun / Lukaku / Rashford

couple in there i'm worried about, but no funds to upgrade.
