On 25(-8) with Kane(C), Alli and Walker to go.

Could I possible survive without using a FT with this team?

FFS community, please help me here. It's not a informative post it's about catching up a rival. He is 55 points ahead at this point in time with Kane, Alli and Dier left for me.

    My team:
    Robles, Cech
    Gabriel, Fuchs, Cresswell, Evans, Dier
    Mane, Alli, Mahrez, Firminho, Payet,
    Kane, Kun, Defoe

    Rival: (has a TC left)
    Darlow, De Gea
    Simpson, Clichy, Clyne, Bellerin, Coleman
    Coutinho, Sanchez, KDB, Iwobi, Lanzini,
    Kane, Martial, Sturridge.

Generally with one game left for this week and three GW's left I'd give up on covering a 55 point lead. However given my Spurs cover tomorrow and since my rival has ruined his team by WCing to get the DW players I have already covered 40 points and his team still looks in ruins given injuries and rotation. So there's a glimmer of hope in me at this point. Any suggestions how I should go about this?
Would really appreciate any help here. I know it's not much of any interest to people on here. Thanks. Sorry for the quick repost. Thought a post on a bit on top would help. Last time.

      Don't you both have Kane?
He has midfield issues so it really depends on what he does with Coutinho and KDB.

I have captained Kane. I have absolutely no clue what he would be doing. My initial plan was
        GW36: Kun, Alli> Deeney, Sanchez
        GW37: Kane, Evans> Smalling, Carroll

        Skeptical about it though

Hoping Spurs do a good job tomorrow. A reduction of 20 points could do wonders. Chasing 30 odd points in the last 3 weeks is realistic I guess. Thanks for responding TM.

Did not read what others suggested, but here's my approach.

Don't change front line, don't change keepers, probably have to take risks going without alexis as you can't do straight swap Mane -> Alexis (?) and you need different players. So probably you can punt on Mane -> Fab/Pedro/Willian/Noble(as you can't go for Lanzini) and pray. Or just play Mahrez in 37. Now do Evans -> PVA, pray for Gabriel to play next match. And before GW37 you can choose to punt on DGW mid and bench Mahrez or bench Dier and try you luck with Smalling. Wish you luck 🙂

Bavies. He ain't playing for sure sure. That's why I exluded him. Iwoby has really a profitable fixture. Milner could take a cameo only which is the worst. Also Iwoby might not play.

    -12 Taken

Rojo, Sakho, Alli, KDB > PVA, Cresswell, Lanzini, Hazard

Team for double will be : (after Otamendi > Smalling for free next week)

    ---------------Robles-----------------
    Moreno Smalling PVA Creswell
    -----Hazard Payet Lanzini---------
    -------Aguero Defoe Kane---------
    -------------------------------------------
    --Darlow Sanchez Ozil Bellerin--

Inspired by RCA's recent go big or go home hit success, plus my own historic big hit successes, gives me 9 doublers, 7 that are nailed to play both. Plus 3 Arsenal on the bench for Villa in 38. Also sorted a dodgy defence that could have had just 2 playing next week. Roll on the double 🙂

Surely on your logic you'd pick Carroll?

        That's what I'm thinking

I think Carroll will get better service from the likes of Payet, Cresswell, Lanzini etc than Defoe

I'm leaning that way too. Defoe is more nailed but Carroll plays in a team who will score more goals

Are Toby and Kane (c) likely to outscore 17 points??

I read a stat on here yesterday morning. It was about how WBA have only let 5 strikers score on them this season, the rest being midfielders and defenders. And all 5 of them were held to only one goal. What are the chances WBA keep Kane quiet?

I can see it. ONLY because I switched the armband from him to Kun last minute.

‘We don’t want Tottenham to win the Premier League - the fans, the club and the players.' - Eden Hazard

Be aware Spurs, be aware. I might bench Alli. Hmmm...

Lol those are the type of things you don't say to the media. I'm excited, though. It'll be a great game.

Purely from a selfish FPL point of view (Kane C, Alli), In a way I'm glad Leicester won tonight to make the Spurs title dream an outside chance because had Leicester won then I can only imagine Spurs bottling it like they always do.

        * had Leicester lost then I can only imagine Spurs bottling it like they always do when the pressure is really on them.

33 (no hits) with Alli and Kane (c) left...is that pretty much average?

The chances are very small. The drug test result will need to have been mistaken and that isnt likely.

    Best solution?

    A) PVA and Carroll
    B) Cresswell and Defoe
    C) any other?
