Was meant to be going Majorca Saturday for 5 days, its predicted to be raining out there every day of those 5 days including thunderstorms. Changed the holiday to tonight to go Cyprus in 2 weeks. Biggest thing I'm happy about is being here for the whole of dgw37 😀

Not done a tale from the dugout for a while...so here we go...Another tale from the life of a junior football manager, and the state of the junior game.

This week i attended a first aid course at the Lancashire football assosciation...it cost me 21 quid. We managed to "pop" our matchball in our last game in some trees, so i bought a new one..it cost me thirty quid. Two of our players got booked on the last match and they really aren't the wealthiest lads (£10.00 fine for a booking for the lads)..so i paid the fines (20 quid).We play on a "school pitch" and the school have fallen out with the grounds staff so we had no pitch ready...so last Friday night i had to mark it up on my own (a big job and for free).

So what you might ask...well this...On Thursday, and after all that, i got an Email from the FA saying that i submitted a team sheet in late last week and i have to pay a fine of 10 quid for late submission (the week my nephew did what he did). No wonder manager's pack it up...

If anybody asks what is wrong with youth football feel free to show them this.
