The final round of festive fixtures comes to its conclusion at Wembley Stadium as Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham play the second match of their double Gameweek 22.

Much to our collective relief, Harry Kane returns to the hosts’ starting line-up after producing just a single point from his 22 minutes off the bench at Swansea on Tuesday night.

It’s fair to say that the Fantasy Premier League hopes of many managers rely on the Spurs striker this evening.

Not only is he the top captain pick for the Gameweek (24.2%), a hefty 121,000+ Triple Captain chips have been wielded on Kane in light of back-to-back hat-tricks in his previous two starts.

The allure of a double Gameweek has also boosted in interest in Spurs midfield trio Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli. All three join Kane on the teamsheet and are also among the top 13 armband picks for Gameweek 22.

The top transfer target for Gameweek 22, with 498,000+ new owners, Son has scored in five of Tottenham’s last six at Wembley, totalling 57 points over those matches.

Eriksen and Alli, meanwhile, bagged an assist and goal respectively in Tuesday’s win at Swansea to continue their improved form.

The Dane has supplied points in six of his last seven outings, while Alli has two goals and four assists in his previous three.

At the back, Ben Davies earns successive starts for the first time since Gameweek 16 as Danny Rose misses out with a knee complaint again.

The big news for the Hammers is that Marko Arnautovic is sidelined with a minor hamstring problem.

Drafted in by over 368,000 for his pair of fixtures, he ends double Gameweek 22 on five points, having earned the assist for Andy Carroll’s late winner against West Brom.

Carroll’s two goals in the Baggies’ clash isn’t enough to keep his role in the XI, though – he drops to the bench as Chicharito leads the line instead.

The Mexican and Manuel Lanzini – who has supplied four assists in his previous five – carry the main threat to a defence that’s looking for their tenth clean sheet of the season.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I’m looking to double up on Man City attack. I already have sterling. Who do we feel is better out of Aguero and KDB to join him FPL wise?

    Okay, I have a question.

Obviously its very hard to tell but in my mini leagues, I'm behind 3 people who are 100 points ahead of me. It is likely that they will wildcard before the DGW's. In order to catch them, when would be the best time to wildcard? Im having such a bad season so I'm not bothered really anymore about OR, just wanna beat my mini league rivals who are jammy casuals 🙂

They wont be doing as well at the end of the season because of the DGW's. What I should have asked is how many points difference does the WC make usually at the time of the DGW's into the end of the season?

If they are casuals they won't do it properly so do it when you like. Only 5-6 points per week.

Yeh but Tim S didnt say it like that though, he thought English champs league winners automatically mean an extra spot granted. Its with caveats, and the only English team going to win CL is going to 100000000% be in top 4.

West Ham is a derby. It's not a normal match. Back end of ridiculous amount of games played recently. Read somewhere recently many players are on auto pilot at this stage of season so you get a low scoring games which bar a few exceptions has been true

I haven't been playing with any main strikers ... so of course on a FH I got tempted to play Kane and Vardy even though my gut was saying Mahrez and a 3rd TOT other than Kane to go with Son & Alli

None really hindsight, just an admission that forwards are bloody tempting ... and tend to let you down

Advice please from those in the know...

I want to bring in Aguero, Lingard and Stones for Firmino, Otamendi, Son.....opinions on whether this is a good move? If so, I will be 0.1 short. So, is Lingard and Firmino likely to rise? If I get Lingard now and Firmino rises, I can afford Aguero. The 0.1 is based only on Firmino rising which will allow the move. However, if Lingard rises too and I don't transfer him in before the rise, it wont work.

    1. MTPockets

From that link though, it doesnt look like Firmino will rise? I need firmino to rise 0.1, that link from my understanding looks to be unlikely?

No it doesn't look likely yet.

He's a goal threat, he will play and although I would prefer Otamendi over Stones, its cover for a lot cheaper. I want Aguero post Liverpool game. He is captain material when he's a guaranteed starter.

Stumbled my way to 45 all out! What a horrible, throughoutly disappointing, unenjoyable DGW

    Nightmare!

I can only field this 11 of fit players!! Should i take a -4 or -8 to sort this out?

    DDG
    Mee / Ogbonna / Otamendi / Kenny / Duffy
    Sterling / Hazard
    Kane / Depoitre / DCL

    Bench: Salah, Coutinho, Arnautovic

    1FT 0.2 itb

    All suggestions welcome!

If Arnie does end up being out, would the following move be worthwhile?
    A) Arnautovic > Lingard

Or if he isn't would you rather:
    B) Son > Pogba

    Or C) Save the FT

Selling Son before Everton (H) is asking for trouble. The man is a (H)ero 😉
