Our partner game Yahoo are offering yet another opportunity to win a slice of a daily Fantasy prize pot this weekend.

They have a Premier League £2.5k Saturday contest which takes in all seven matches from 3 pm onwards tomorrow, finishing with the 5.30pm Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium as Pep Guardiola’s side look to clinch the title with a win over their neighbours.

The contest is guaranteed to run, costs £5 to enter and is a multi-entry game, which means you can select up to five teams. The top 125 places pay out – there’s a minimum win-back of £10, with £250 going to the first place.

Driven by Opta data, the Yahoo game has a unique scoring system which is ideal for those members of our community on the lookout for a Daily Fantasy Sports game.

If you’re new to Yahoo, you can sign up and claim a free £50 in credit to your account when you deposit just £5. Promo code: Fantasy50.

Before getting started on your line-up, it’s worth digesting our Strategy Guide, which assesses the types of players who profit from the rule set.

FFS Strongest XI

Hugo Lloris – £15
Kiko Femenia – £14
Harry Maguire – £14
Nicolas Otamendi – £16
Kevin De Bruyne – £25
Pascal Gross – £19
Will Hughes – £15
Dele Alli – £18
Harry Kane – £25
Riyad Mahrez – £21
Josh King – £17

The Yahoo scoring system – which awards goalkeepers points for wins or draws and double the number of points as defenders for a clean sheet – helps Hugo Lloris claim the spot between the posts. The Spurs keeper visits a Stoke side that have managed one goal and a single point in their last four matches. Mauricio Pochettino’s men arrive at the bet365 having won each of their last five, conceding just twice over that stretch.

Utilised as a right winger in Watford’s last three matches since returning from injury, Kiko Femenia was among the goals in last week’s draw with Bournemouth. No team-mate has managed more shots inside the box (three) or successful crosses (three) over Gameweek 30-32 than the summer signing ahead of a visit from Burnley. Javi Gracia’s side have two clean sheets in their last three at Vicarage Road, boosting Femenia’s prospects of defensive returns.

Points potential at both ends of the pitch earns Harry Maguire a place in our three-man defence. Leicester have conceded just three times in their last five at the King Power ahead of Newcastle’s visit, while at home, their summer signing from Hull sits second for both successful tackles (28) and interceptions (18) among team-mates. Maguire is ranked number one defender for both shots (nine) and efforts in the box (seven) in the last four Gameweeks.

Nicolas Otamendi’s style of play is ideally suited to the Yahoo scoring system ahead of the Manchester derby. We expect United to sit back at the Etihad Stadium and attempt to hit on the counter, which should profit the Argentine – at home, he is the top-ranked defender for successful passes (1,275) by some margin. In front of their own fans, the league leaders have allowed fewer shots (83), efforts in the box (49) and attempts on target (29) than any side. Furthermore, Otamendi boasts a considerable attacking threat and is second only to Marcos Alonso for both goals (four to six) and total attempts (29 to 58) among defenders.

With a win over United set to clinch the title, we’re backing Kevin De Bruyne to deliver for Pep Guardiola’s side. Ranked top for key passes (57) and joint-top for big chances created (12) in home matches, the Belgian has also served up more assists (12) than any player in front of his own supporters. No Yahoo midfielder has managed more shots on target (23) than De Bruyne at home ahead of Saturday’s evening kick-off.

Level with the Man City playmaker for big chances created (12) at home, Pascal Gross remains pivotal to Brighton’s survival plight. The German’s contribution in front of his own fans is key ahead of Huddersfield’s visit – he’s supplied more successful crosses (37) than any player at home and is ranked fourth for key passes, with 46. Gross has played a part in 52% of his side’s goals at the Amex when on the pitch and entertains a Terriers’ defence without a clean sheet in their last 13 road trips.

Handed a first start under Javi Gracia since recovering from injury, Will Hughes was quick to make an impact in last week’s clash with Bournemouth. The playmaker made more key passes (four) and successful tackles (four) than any team-mate and earned an assist for his side’s second. In an injury-hit season, the former Derby man has still served up a goal and three assists in his last four appearances at Vicarage Road. Meanwhile, his visitors Burnley have recorded just a single clean sheet in ten attempts.

Costing just £18, Dele Alli looks a bargain buy for Spurs’ trip to Stoke. With three goals and a pair of assists in his last three league outings, he looks set to benefit from the bet365 Stadium encounter. The Potters have managed just two clean sheets in their last 15 at home and have conceded more shots (75), efforts in the box (51) and big chances (14) than any side over their respective last four fixtures.

Harry Kane looks set to lead the line against Paul Lambert’s strugglers having earned minutes off the bench against Chelsea. Still chasing Mohamed Salah in the Golden Boot race, Kane boasts an excellent record in recent meetings with Stoke, netting eight times in his previous four. On the road, he’s the top-ranked player for goals (13), shots (61) and efforts in the box (42) and is joint-top with Salah for attempts on target, firing 23 apiece.

With a goal or assist in 11 of his last 15 league starts, Riyad Mahrez is our preferred Leicester attacker for the visit of a Newcastle defence with just one shutout in their previous 13 away fixtures. Since returning to Claude Puel’s teamsheet in Gameweek 28, the Algerian has fired 14 attempts on goal and eight shots on target – level with Liverpool’s Salah on both counts.

Bournemouth’s Josh King offers a cut-price option for our three-man frontline. Setting you back just £17 in Yahoo, the Norwegian has supplied three goals and an assist over his previous five starts, blanking on just one of those occasions. His visitors Crystal Palace arrive at the Vitality having struggled for resilience, with Roy Hodgson’s men managing just one clean sheet in their last nine league outings.

As Yahoo allows late swaps up until each kick-off, our listed line-up may well be subject to change.

The Weekend Contests

As well as the Premier League £2.5k Saturday contest, Yahoo are also offering a Premier League £1k Sunday contest.

Containing both matches from that day, it gets underway at 2.15pm when Arsenal take on Southampton at the Emirates Stadium, and concludes with the Chelsea vs West Ham United match at 4.30pm.

This is also guaranteed to run, costs £5 to enter and is a multi-entry game, which means you can select up to two teams. The top 50 places pay out – there’s a minimum win-back of £10, with £100 going to the first place.

You can open an account and get started immediately.

If you register and deposit £5 or more, Yahoo will also give you a £50 bonus to be used as cash to enter paid contests.

Register here to claim the bonus.

You must be over 18 years of age, resident in the UK, and of legal capacity to register with Yahoo Daily Sports and open an Account. If you sign up, please always play responsibly.

Don't understand the WC teams with 2/3 spurs players in...surely 1 game against stoke is cancelled out by playing Man city and a blank???

If you have FH (I don't, hence only one Spurs player), the blank isn't an issue

Not if you FH 35 and see them as double double team and City take foot off gas with league sown up.

Most will use FH on 35, so the blank doesn't matter. And City will possibly already be champions by then and it's just a few days after a decisive (an possibly exhausting) game against Liverpool.

Why would he be more of a risk than Alli? You'll struggle to find a Spurs fan who would rather see Alli play than Son, and Alli has more minutes under his belt...

I don't feel comfortable with any of them...

Alonso - not cheap and not on form.
Davies - will most likely be rotated BUT can deliver big
Smalling - probably a decent punt for the DGW
Vertonghen at 6m with no attacking threat feels money poorly spent.

I've had Salah from the start and I see no problem with ditching for Alli. Assuming Liverpool go through to the semis I can see Salah being rested liberally in league play from here on out.

Clearly the sort of player who relishes playing. I would expect plenty of 60-70 minute run outs, but I don't fancy not having him in my team while he's having them

I disagree re Bournemouth. As they have a UCL break after, particularly if he sits out tomorrow, he will likely be raring to go (barring anything happening against city second leg)

You're completely missing the point. Salah has been happily playing pretty much twice a week, every week, since last summer. At no stage has anyone suggested he is looking fatigued or tired in any way. So why would he suddenly be wrapped in cotton wool for the sake of four games? He clearly loves playing football and isn't happy at not playing (as you can see from him telling Klopp he was fine after the game).

I doubt he plays this week. But I would be surprised if he doesn't start every other Liverpool game (league and UCL) this season. He may be pulled at 65-70 mins a couple of times, in the weeks before UCL games, but he's more than capable of hauling in that time.

Each to their own, but it seems that people who have decided to sell won't listen to a suggestion that Salah is an FPL player worth keeping...

Reckon I can get away with saving a FT this week? If Salah doesn’t play my bench is pretty thin.

    A) Yes
    B) No, Mkhi -> x

    Ryan
    Monreal, Chilwell, Lowton
    Salah, Son, Mahrez, Willian, Mkhi*
    Auba, Vardy

    DDG, Barnes, Tarkowski, Smalling
    Bank 0.3m, 1FT

So with my FH chip ready for GW37, one eye on GW35 and a BB in GW34 for the DGW...here is my WC team

    Pope/DDG
    Lowton/Kiko/Robertson/Chilwell/Christenson
    Alli/Mahrez/Salah/Milo/Willian
    Abamayang/Kaku/Barnes

    Ryan
    Alonso Morgan Mustafi
    Salah Mahrez Son Willian Gross
    Lukaku Aubameyang
    Subs: DDG Barnes Lowton Dummett

    1 FT, 0.0 ITB. I don't have FH

    A - Save FT
B - Kane + Gud for Lukaku + Son (-4). Bring Lukaku in for Auba next week. Bench Gud and start Barnes

    Thanks guys

Before I pull the trigger any glaring problems or is this solid?

    De Gea - Dubravka

    Christensen - Lowton - Tarkowski - Morgan - Femenia

    Kenedy - Son - Willian - Mahrez - Salah

    Kane - Auba - Barnes

And lost Salah in the process as well who will play in 34 chasing the golden boot and up against Bournemouth. May be benched in 35 before CL semi.

    Any help would be much appreciated;

    A. Aub > Kane (miss price rise)
    B. Salah > Eriksen
    C. Save FT

    Already own Son.

Thanks and good luck to all! (but not too much luck)

Selling Salah now leaves him almost unattainable at 10.7m for most team without big surgery

He's likely not to play vs Everton though. And if you're using free hit in 35, and as he has no double 34, then shouldn't we sell?

    WC now
    TC 37 (kane)

    FH 35
