zøphar Blank Gameweek 18 is just around the corner, and I wanted to use this opportunity to present some picks I feel should be part of your squad if you are opting to use the Free Hit.
At the time of writing, there was a lot of uncertainty looming around Spurs so, for the purpose of this piece I steered clear of the two clubs.
After all, the best way to maximise a Free Hit squad is to base as much as you can on things you are certain about.
Which would you prefer on a free hit?
a) Lloris, Saka and Wilson, or
b) De Gea, Smith-Rowe and Laca?
Without seeing the rest of your team im not sure but would side with a)

The defense is functional, but it basically covers the exact same teams as the more expensive and preferred defense of say Lloris, Tierney, Cancelo, AWB. If none of the defenders get attacking returns, perhaps it's worth it.
Why do we expect Foden to start all of a sudden?
Because he's scored in both of his last two games. Because he's playing very well. Because Sterling isn't fully fit according to Pep.
I fully expect him to start.

I like it. Imo when you use a FH, you should go as agressive as possible with players who have the highest ceiling in order to maximise the difference in points between your team and non-FH teams.

Everyone seems to be going double City defence but I can't see passed double City attack against Brighton. If Sterling is fit it will be him and KDB. If Raz is out I'll punt on Jesus.

Who would you pick out of Dier and Maguire/AWB? ManUtd have been terrible at defending set pieces this season. And they meet Burnley next.

Dier probably a better cs chance.

I'm not all that enthused by a Man United defensive asset this GW, although admit they haven't conceded to Burnley often.
In a FH draft I was looking at Lloris GK, with no MUN defender, so therefore I'd prefer Dier. Not many chances for attacking returns though.
