    GW28 = 1,223,530
    After today's games... 376,492
Just 68 points off of the top 100,000

I'll take it after the season I've had. 10 to play (9 with Haaland C).

Cheers mate. Was as low as 5.5M after GW3 and played my first WC in GW4. Always the same story with me. Start rough, finish strong, but this season was something dire at the start. I was 2.5M OR in GW21!

Incredible how VAR disappears in the big moments against the big teams at home. Konate’s wrestling and Jota’s face kick not being seen sums up how rubbish the stockley park crew are. Both teams exposing how far off they are this season.

Aside from there being a few games remaining, who would be your FPL player of the season - excluding Haaland?

    I'm between Martinelli and Toney...

For me, both have shown great consistency and that relentless ability to keep going and to avoid injury.

Given the resources available at Brentford vs Arsenal and the players around him, I think Toney edges it even if he was that bit more expensive GW1....

It mustn't have been easy to keep going with the charges hanging over him- but he did. I try not to judge people too much quickly anymore. Most of us will do something wrong at some stage. I know I have. Maybe this was his.

Good luck to you all for the run in...

    1. George Sillett
      • 10 Years

I think that Martinelli has been exceptional. Pace , skill and an eye for goal. Toney to Spurs if Kane goes ?

    2. Zenith UK
      • 9 Years
      2 years, 10 months ago

Anything other than Kane for me feels wrong. Spurs are ridiculed week in and week out and this fella is still putting up 25+ goals. It's mental. If Haaland wasn't in the league this year people would be creaming over Kane's performances.

Toney has been fantastic agreed. I've not kept too close a tab on what he actually did. Was he generally betting on games or was he using inside knowledge and fixing?

If Trippier hadn't fallen off after the World Cup I'd have tipped him for this season and he'd be clear of 200 points right now I reckon, but I guess that's what separates the greats, eh?

Odegaard to add to that. He has had three spells of not getting an attacking return for more than two weeks running. The opening two games of the season, GWs 5-9 (excluding BGW7) where he had no returns in 4 games (and 4GWs) - of which he missed one of the fixtures - and GW22-23 (DGW23) where he blanked for 3 games (but only 2GWs). Otherwise he's got an attacking return at least every other GW. Fair play to the lad.

Spurs are ridiculed week in week out by supporters of the rest of the "big six". Most football fans, who follow other clubs would be more than happy to have a season like Spurs are having. Brighton, Villa and Brentford fans are loving their season, but they are below Spurs in the league.

Remember Spurs play to Kane's strength. At City he would be Alvarez and Alvarez would be Kane at Spurs. At Liverpool, he would be Nunez!

Not sure I’d agree there’s a cut off to when hits are successful. If they gain you 4 points or more then they’re sensible. However I’m not sure Alvarez is nailed enough to guarantee he’ll get you that and Watkins doesn’t become bad over night and has a fragile Wolves next (albeit away). I’d want Rashford; I’d make a judgement on other news (eg KDB) before considering the other move

    Trippier, Shaw, Estupinan
    Salah, Saka, Martinelli, Maddison
    Haaland, Watkins, Solanke

    (Kepa, Mitoma, Zinchenko, Botman)

    With 1FT + 1.2 itb what's my best move?

    A) Maddison > Rashford
    B) Maddison > Grealish
    C) Saka > Rashford

Phenomenal! Helped by an extended period of fitness, he’s arguably the most in form players at the moment . My guess is that Howe will keep this formula of Isak starting most and Wilson brought on as impact sub but he’s making a case to start more (nervous Isak owner)

I watched again some highlights of the last few. His positioning in the box has been incredible. With NEW winning midfield battle and transitioning quickly through wings and middle, he's just so clinical including headers and shots outside the box.

Wow that’s good. A few GWs ago, my team was ridiculously low in main rankings with 100k second chance. Just shows that same person can have a good run as much as bad if things go your way

Anyone going or thinking of mahrez for next gw?
Given lack of finds for kdb and already own grealish

No question, notwithstanding Pep roulette ahead of Real, I understand he likes his first team to be match fit and Mahrez seems like a likely first choice. Leeds are there for a lot of goals

LEE at home, with only Haaland in my team. I need somebody in will not be Grealish, considering Alvarez.

Alvarez seems to come in particularly when KDB not around. Might be worth checking his progress. Still think Mahrez is the better bet but all City (apart from Haaland, Ederson and maybe Dias/Akanji) is risky

We should get early team news for GW35 so a City punt is defo on the cards

Haaland Isak Jota upfront at the moment, should I consider Wilson and/or Alvarez with their next doubles?

No. You’ve got possibly the best front 3. No guarantee Alvarez or Wilson get more

Jota flagged- is it a new one or official fpl just being slow to remove old one?

Well, pleased to see Gakpo out-pointing Salah so far, at least. Shame about KDB and no City cs.

Triple captain fail with Haaland after he scored after 3 mins.

On the plus side Jota should start next game?

Why is the TC considered a fail? He got a return and still has another game to go.

Fail? That’s a decent TV so far, a return and a game left

    Only dedication for GW35.

    A. Dunk (EVE)
    B. Mings (wol)

Already playing Estupinan. Don’t know if I could handle another 15 points from Mings on the bench.

Chances of a Mings 15 pointer pretty slim but always nervous benching him. Dunk at home to Everton has to be the move

    Current transfer thoughts:

    1. Watkins to Alvarez in 35
    Alvarez to Isak/Wilson in 36
    2. Salah to City mid
    3. Save FT, get both Wilson and Isak in 36 by selling Botman (-4)

    1FT 0.9ITB
    Raya
    TAA Trippier Estupinan
    Salah March Bruno Rashford Mitoma
    Haaland Watkins
    (Kepa Shaw Botman Greenwood)

I don’t fancy 2. Contemplating 1 (but for Mbeumo). 3 is exciting- would keep it on the back burner

Alvarez in would be just a one week punt? Prospects of him starting until the end of season?

      Depends on KDB injury

Pep is the answer, you'll keep guessing. Greater chance if KDB is not fully fit.

I definitely lucked out with Jota this gw

Benched, then should’ve been sent off, then still nicks a goal

Hopefully a haul in the match he should’ve been suspended for too
