Why did I choose Semenyo over Archer, anyone? Semenyo really gotta show up for me now and not make me regret benching Gusto.

Best FPL player I know personally and Mark Southerns went Watkins Captain Crazy too.

Another great FPL cat was -4 with Watkins, Bailey, and Cash.

All these guys have been beating me by 3 points per week and 50 pts for the year.

If utd play a low block against Villa, is Shaw still as advanced? If so, Gusto could match Shaw attacking potential.

I'd say it comes down to CS potential. Eze is back and available for Palace while Villa's attack so very good

    What would you do here??
    7.9 itb, 2ft
    Dubravka, Areola
    Tsimikas, Lascelles, Porro, Gabriel, Kabore
    Salah, Son, Gordon, Sterling, Saka
    Solanke, Watkins, Archer

Thinking of just using 1ft to move Areola and saving the others for the salah, son, Haaland merry go round. Is this a good move and if so who to put as second keeper?
Any other moves I should be considering?

    1. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 2 months ago

      Kabore to Konsa

Areola is expected to start today, from a Twitter leak I saw on here yesterday

Konsa gives you extra cover if Tsimikas gets a full rest and/or if Schar is back and Lascelles is benched, then Konsa is useful for Villa's nice run of fixtures

Agree with rolling the other FT for those moves

    Have a super Saturday.

Villa with a good point 'eh, but could have gone top heading into Christmas...

Football is a funny old game and the title race is wide open.

Archer probably subs on for lots of those Haaland captainers ...

About 3 million ghost teams climbing ranks depending on their VC.

        Nah.

It's not but that's the Emery quote...

I guess in the context of the game a late equaliser is always better than nothing.

But shows you that football is difficult and as Wilder said they almost smashed and grabbed it at Villa Park. Sheffield United showing togetherness might help them in the second half of their season.

I've still got him but currently benching him for Gross.

It could help but Man City were something like 9/1 to win that game so you'd say Everton away in 4 days is a lot tougher encounter.

I guess they land back around about now, then rest.

But they've got to be up for it again and train on boxing day...

Footballers are used to training over this period, I’m not sure that’ll be a factor.

It’s an interesting on for me, I have Alvarez, Solanke & Watkins & have to lose one for Haaland, the plan was always Alvarez but I’m starting to wonder if it should be Watkins, the blank last night is not the issue (although if he hauled things would seem different) but they only really have Burnley at home in the next six which looks like a good fix for the attack.

What do you think about their next six?

I was looking too, all tough games with the exception of Burnley.

But that may help them, Emery will be looking at the weakness to improve but football is also the bounce of the ball.

Watkins better on the road so I will stay patient.

No issue with training on boxing day, more the point they come back from a hot country slightly jet lagged but it's mild here so they might be fine.

I don't think Man City are in their best spot but this mini break might galvanise them l, especially if Jack wasn't allowed out afterwards...

I took him out after his 11 for Darwin, missed the two blanks and brought him back for the 9, feel I’ve been lucky with losing him at the right times and might try it again.

                  Gotta play your own game...

I still think the Alvarez to Haaland switch with Salah and Son going makes sense when there is news and positive signs that Haaland can play.

He could be a week away from kicking a ball anyhow.

Everton away is certainly a game you could gamble without Haaland now (even if he does play)

I’ll be captaining Salah regardless of Haaland that week prefer Jesus home to West Ham more tbf

I’d like to get Richarlison in but I have Watkins and there’s only room for one troll in mine team!

Why do trolls take up more space?

They take up space in mine head!

Well, not just the mind space issue …. The average troll stands nine feet high and weighs roughly 500 pounds, though females tend to be a bit larger than males. The hide of trolls is rubbery, and usually either moss green, putrid grey, or mottled gray and green. Their coarse hair is typically iron grey, or greenish-black. You really only want one of these, if any at all.

Watkins is one of the most annoying players in fpl

Seems to always get an annoying return when you don’t own then feels meh when you buy him

He's streaky and FPL players are mostly impatient.

Hence on the wrong side of runs.

I benched him when he had his first big haul in that 7:2 covid victory against Liverpool.

I still had Grealish and Salah in my team that day but benching Watkins ruined the day.

Our current Hall of Shame leader, the inimitable Ball Scratchers, is currently ranked 307 in the world! He played his Free Hit this week and captained Watkins, but also owns Doug Luiz. Taking mine lead obviously, but very good luck to him. He has previously won a fine codpiece ( not ornate but) earlier in the season to help stop the scratching. He is well on course to reach no. 1 overall by season’s end. Shame!

2FT and 7.5M in the bank. The intention was always to just switch Solanke to Haaland, but considering instead going 3-4-3 and downgrading Gordon instead and having a front line of Haaland, Solanke and Watkins. Any thoughts?
