Sounds in line with the reports that he'd miss most (if not all) of January then with a chance he returns for Sheffield Utd. An appearance from the bench is about the best I'd expect then anyway so I'm hoping I won't need him, but it'd helpful if he did make that so I'd be more confident he'd start in GW23, but I similarly wouldn't be overly surprised to see him miss both games

Early thoughts are TC25, WC30 and FH34. BB I have no idea, not opposed to using it in a SGW.

I did have a look at BB25 but I have Gusto and Palmer away to City that GW and upgrading the bench means I can't have Haaland + Salah + KDB which I may want.

TC: 25 stands out to me but depends on the fitness of the premiums and Liverpool DGW25

BB: I won't be forcing it so depends how the fixtures land for my bench and SGW is not ruled out.

FH: depends how many blanks fall on 29. If I can survive without FH29 then target DGW.

WC: whenever my team needs it. Early WC might be an option to setup for 25 and 29 and allow FH for 34/37.

It does seem that BB is the most difficult to deploy this season - many seem to be considering a SGW for it but just seems sub optimal, DGW37 really doesnt appeal though

Most of the hits were from GW8-11 (after WC in GW6) when anyone and everyone I bought in were either getting injured or suspended. Moved into the top 10k after a dream December.

A season of extremes really, had my lowest and highest ever (not including doubles) GW scores. But still in a good position to push on and beat my best OR of ~4k

As long as he's back for the DGW in 25 I'll find a way to get him in.

If you do make sure you've factored in their potential two BGW in 26 & 29. You should know 26 pre-deadline at least

Personally I'd prefer to keep Archer as a cheap option and use funds across your starters, unless you plan to BB in 25

Agreed with comments given already, Alvarez to Haaland and keep Archer would be the move.

However if I do Solanke to Haaland it allows Salah easily.

I wouldn't look to spread value further by upgrading Archer, as you say it makes getting Salah more difficult. I would lose either Solanke or Watkins.

I have virtually the same team and dilemma, starting to lean towards transferring out Solanke due to easy Salah transfer later, but also to avoid the benching headache that having 8 starting attackers brings.

England are favourites in England. But Southgate's pragmatism wouldn't inspire me in the crunch games. Hopefully they won't be too reluant on Bellingham and Kane who'll have very little adversity for their cubs this season. Would love to see them win it.

I was watching France playing one of the worst Irish teams to play a match in Paris. And we've had some brutal teams especially under Stephen Kenny. It ended 2-0 should have been 6 or 7 nil. A lot of showboating from France who have plenty of talented footballers but not such a good team. Too reliant on Mbappe to drag them through big games. Deschamps has them playing to Mbappe's strength but nit Mbappe and the rest of the talented players playing as a team to France's strength.

Belgium have been overrated for years. Great individuals who don't fight enough in big games when playing ball isn't enough to get results.
